"Oh my god." I squealed as I looked around me. We were in an indoor roller skating rink! The place literally screamed the 80s. The walls were filled with neon lights and there was a huge disco ball hanging in the center of the rink. Old school music was even playing in the background. "This is amazing!" I said still looking around. There wasn't a lot of people here except for a handful of students that ditched school.

"Come on." Yeonjun ruffled my hair and pulled me to the counter to rent out the skates. I couldn't help but gape. Even the staff here dressed according to the theme. They wore bandanas and colorful shirts.

"A size 7 and 10 please." Yeonjun casually said leaning on the counter. "Huh?!" My head instantly snapped to him. I was shocked that Yeonjun knew my shoe size. "Hey. How'd you know?" I asked him, tilting my head.

My heart just melted into a puddle then and there. Yeonjun though he's silent, he memorises every little detail as much as he could when we're together. It amazes me. He probably knows a lot more of me than I knew of myself. I shook my head at the thought. "It's not that hard to guess, Jiwon." He adjusted his glasses before turning to me rolling his eyes playfully. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever, smartass." I made a face.

"But thank you." I cling to his arm.

"That would be 12,000." The cashier interrupted us and handed our skates and keys to the locker area. I reached for my wallet inside of my sling bag. "Oppa, let's split." I declared. He stared at me for a moment and analysed my face. His eyebrows were furrowed and lips protruded. I could practically see the motors working inside of his head. Thinking about what to answer.

Oh man. He whispered.

"How about this. . ." My ears perked. "I'll let you pay but I'll cover everything on our food." He negotiated. That sounded good enough. Though it would have been better if we also split the bill on that one. But since this was our first date, I'll let it slide. I will just pester him another time.

I clicked my tongue and nodded at him.

Yeonjun guided me to sit on one of the benches on the side. While I was trying to put on the skates, Yeonjun silently got our bags and placed them in our locker. After he was done putting his, we headed straight to the rink hand in hand.

"I'm not really good at this." I confessed to him paling by the second. This was my first time doing this and it doesn't even help that I suck at ice skating. I can't help but imagine that I might fall and break a bone. Yeonjun must've read my thoughts because he chuckled mischievously and pulled on my arm, quickening our pace. "Yah, yah! Stop!" I screamed at him.

"This isn't funny!" I crossed my arms and attempted to skate to the opposite direction turning my back to him and trying to widen the gap between me and my bully. I frustratedly let out a grunt when I realise that I wasn't even moving from my spot. I turned around and saw that Yeonjun was at the same area where I left him. My cheeks heated from the embarrassment. I silently let out a string of profanities under my breath.

Yeonjun was clearly enjoying every second of this. He was smirking as he watched me break into sweat practically fighting with my legs.

"Oppa, help me." I finally said. I probably looked stressed out now. My hair was all over the place and I was sweating so much despite of the cold weather.

Yeonjun immediately went to my side and got something from his back pocket. "You're such a baby." He grabbed both of my cheeks and dabbed on the sweat with a handkerchief.

"Yeonjun's baby." I teased him. Laughing a little because he instantly froze from his spot. His mouth was open and his ears started to turn bright red.

"Aish. That's foul play!" Yeonjun hid his face. "Well, I'm not wrong." I nudged him, wiggling my eyebrows.
