Chapter 4

The cool ambiance of the noodle house was welcoming and soothing to the boys. The air was filled with different scents of various spices and was hot and heavy.
"Have you ever been to this noodlehouse before?"
"No P'Arthit. I haven't."
"Good! They serve the best spicy noodles with meatballs and I wanted to treat you to some good food." P'Arthit said as he looked around for on empty table as KongPob smiled at his statement.
"So can I count this as our first date then?"
"KongPob! You are too much! Come let's sit."

They choose a middle table while the waiter came over to take their order. While they waited for their food, they suddenly fell into a slump of awkwardness as P'Arthit stole sly glances at KongPob and smiled slightly at their new found nervousness.
"Awuu, why are so silent all of a sudden? I know this is not much for a first date but I really wanted to treat you out in my favourite restaurant and show you that I don't regret asking you out." P'Arthit galnced side aways as he saw the immaculate smile on KongPob's face and tried to seem nonchalant.
His comment had definitely caught KongPob's attention and the junior reached out to hold P'Arthit's hand.
"So this is really our first date then?"
"Sigh... Oiii KongPob! Is that all you heard me say? If you think I'm going to repeat what I said then dream on. Now let go of my hand, our food is here."
P'Arthit received his usual bowl of spicy noodles as KongPob got a bowl of glass noodles and meatballs.
"KongPob, you still eat your bland food over the spicy ones? How long will it take for you to change your eating style." P'Arthit asked as he noticed his boy's food choice.
"Mmmh, you know that I like my food not heavily spiced but if you want me to change then I'll get a bit of spicy food."
"Mm-mmh. No! I don't want you to change at all. I like how you are now an Di f eating bland food makes you happy, so be it." P'Arthit said as he slurped the hot noodles unaware of KongPob's piercing gaze.
"Ohhh P'Arthit! Don't say things like that or else you will make me kiss you right here."
"KONGPOB!" P'Arthit harshly whispered, "Control yourself! OIIII-just eat your food and no more of your talks!"P'Arthit said more than flustered at the young man's statement while KongPob just smiled and continued to eat.

The two enjoyed their quiet dinner as they shared their various stories of the day and plans for the following weeks. KongPob got out of the restaurant, stomach full and heart at ease. Dusk was setting in as he waited outside while P'Arthit paid and watched the world around him. The streets were lit with multi-coloured lamps and people were leisurely walking by to their destinations. When he heard the heavy footsteps behind them, KongPob went in search of their bicycle before he heard P'Arthit called him back.
"KongPob, come here."
"Is something wrong P'Arthit krap?"
"No, no. I just want us to take a photo of our first dare together. We need to create and remember our various times together so that later we can look at them fondly. Now come here."
P'Arthit removed his black Oppo phone and grabbed KongPob by the shoulders and brought his close.
"Look straight at the camera and smile on 3...and any funny business from you and I will leave you to wlak back to your dorm alright? OK 1...2...3,"the satisfying click of the camera was heard as the pair smiled, hearts as one and the prevcious moment was engraved in time.
"Ahhh, look. It came out nice, didn't it?" P'Arthit bragged as he stared at the photo. "It's very good P'Arthit plus you look very handsome in the photo"
"What can I say, not everyone is born with such good genes ehh?" P'Arthit gestured as he stroked his chin. They both cracked up in laughter at P'Arthit self-sentred goofiness before he sent the picture to KongPob so that both could have it.
"OK, come on. Let's go home. I know you have an early class tomorrow and I don't want to tire you or keep you out late any longer."
"You are such a good and caring boyfriend P'Arthit!"
"Mm-mmh. Of course I have to eb. You would be lost if I'm not here to guide you. Now hold on tight."
KongPob readjusted himself on the small seat before once again then they took off in the direction of their dorms.
They reached their dorm in record time curfew still far off and KongPob got off as P'Arthit went ahead and parked his bike before the two headed towards KongPob's room.

"Pah, I got you home safe and sound. Make sure you wash up before going to bed and text me before you sleep, alright. Did you enjoy our date today?" P'Arthit asked anxiously though he didn't want to seem like it.
"Yes P'Arthit krap. I enjoy every moment whenever I am with you."
"Yuck! KongPob, you are soo cheesy you know." P'Arthit commented as he tried to evade KongPob's flirty lines.
"I can't help myself P'Arthit besides you seem to enjoy my cheesiness."
"That's what you think. Ahh, anyway, get into your room now. It's getting late and you need your sleep."
"Wait P'Arthit, will I see you tomorrow?" KongPob asked since he was aware that their schedules would be more hectic.
"I am not sure KongPob byt I will try to see you every once in a while when I have free time. If not, I'll text you regularly ok? Are you happy now?"
"Yes krap. Very much."
" You are just like an excited child,"P'Arthit said as he patted KongPob's head. "Enough now, go.... get inside."

KongPob fished out his keys and opened his door glancing back at P'Arthit their eyes locking onto each other. "What is it now KongPob? Hurry and get in. Go. Now."
"Don't you think you are forgetting something P'Arthit?" KongPob asked silently sending his message towards him.
"Awuuu, did I forget something? What could it be?" P'Arthit replied genuinely confused as he racked his brain trying to figure out what he had missed. It was when he was patting down his pockets when the faint whisper of KongPob's voice made him falter in his steps.
"Goodnight kiss krap!"

P'Arthit never rose so fast to face the younger man, a very flustered and panicked expression on his face. He tried to utter a word but kept stuttering and his hands became sweaty.
KongPob watched all his various reactions amused and enjoyed putting P'Arthit on the spot.
"Isn't it customary for one to give their date a goodnight kiss when they get home P'Arthit. So, can I have my goodnight kiss krap?" he stated as he slowly closed the distance between them.
P'Arthit put his arms out as a barrier to protect himself as KongPob advanced onto him like a vine.

"No! KongPob stop right now or else!"
"Just a small kiss P'Arthit. Just on my cheek then I will go inside."
"NO! KONGPOB!"
KongPob had fully locked P'Arthit in his arms and even put out his cheek while cutely persuading P'Arthit to gave in to his request. P'Arthit struggled trying to find a way out before he finally gave in and gave KongPob a tiny kiss as fast as lightning while looking around to ensure that no one had caught them.
"Let me go now! And go inside! Oiiii!" P'Arthit whispered as he untangled himself and hurriedly walked away. One would have thought that he was angry at KongPob by the way he power walked away from him but KongPob was reassured when P'Arthit threw a wave behind his back at him as he went along. KongPob smiled to himself, much pleased that P'Arthit hadn't denied him and he knew he was going to have beautiful dreams because of him.
He slumped behind his closed door in an almost dream like state touching his cheeks as he licked his lips. 'Next time, it will be my lips P'Arthit.'
