The pair arrived at KongPob's door just in time as the heavy rain began to pour down. The weather had taken a sudden turn when they had boarded the taxi and it was by sheer luck they had eneyeered the building before the heavens opened up its flood gates.
“Ahh. Here you go KongPob. Home safe and sound. Make sure to wash up before bed and remember to text me before you fall asleep. I'm going to go now.” P'Arthit patted KongPob on his shoulder before turning to leave.
“Wait P'Arthit krap! It's raining cats and dogs out there and you will have to walk in the rain to reach your dorm building. Why don't you sleep here tonight then leave in the morning?” KongPob suggested hoping P'Arthit would take the bait.
“Oii KongPob, it's just a little rain and I can easily cover myself with my bag to get to my dorm. Don't worry so much about me and just go in to your room. I'll see you tomorrow,” P'Arthit said completely dismissing KongPob's idea.
Holding his hand so that he couldn't make any further movements, KongPob held fast with both his hands as he gained a pleading look on his face.
“P'Arthit krap, last time you were out in the rain, you got a flu for 3 days straight and had high fever. I had to take care of you back then. I don't want you to get sick again and besides tomorrow I'll be packing a few things to take home and you can help me earlier then instead of I calling you over and wasting time. Are you refusing me because you feel shy that we will be sleeping together? You do know it's not our first time sleeping together right?” KongPob raised his eyebrow, slowly biting his lower lip as he eyed P'Arthit.
“KONGPOB! How many times have I told you not to be saying such things especially in PUBLIC! Someone might hear you and get the wrong impression! Plus we didn't sleep together, we just shared the same bed, there's a difference. I seriously don't know what to do with you anymore! Oiii! And who are you calling shy? I'm not shy of anything!!” P'Arthit protested his face as red as a beetroot as he withdrew his hand from KongPob's grasp and held them together.
KongPob continued looking at him persuadingly until P'Arthit began losing his focus and unknowingly agreed to it. “OK, OK! I'll stay over. Just this once! I don't want to catch a cold and inconvenience you again like last time but I'm warning you, any funny business form you and I'm out the door. I won't care of its raining bullets of hailstones, understood?” P'Arthit said a warning finger directed at KongPob. KongPob jusdt nodded as he laughed never surprised by P'Arthit's seemingly indifference towards him.
“I understand P'Arthit and I also want to remind you that you can inconvenience me anytime you wish. It would be my pleasure tending to you on which ever way possible,” he whispered huskily and felt P'Arthit slightly shiver beside him.

The door couldn't be opened more faster before P'Arthit raced into the room to escape KongPob's shrewd advances and flirtatious words. KongPob could only shake his head in amusement before closing the door behind him, effectively locking the two boyfriends in the small room together for the whole night.
P'Arthit proceeded to take a shower as KongPob fixed the bed to suit the new guest and he couldn't help but recall the last time P'Arthit had slept over in his room. It was the night P'Arthit had questioned KongPob's actual feelings towards him and if he saw him as more than his senior and friend. It was also the night KongPob thought he had lost P'Arthit forever because after he confessed that he indeed liked P'Arthit more than a friend, a new and different kind of wedge grew in between them and suddenly they grew apart more than before. Fortunately, everything was soon resolved when P'Arthit returned his feelings after a few weeks and they began their relationship which KongPob was thoroughly enjoying. 'Wow, look at how much progress we are making P'Arthit!' KongPob thought to himself as he put the pillows in place.
“Why are you just smiling there to yourself at night KongPob? Have you gone mad because I'm staying over?” P'Arthit interjected as he dried his wet black hair with a towel. KongPob raised his face in hopes of catching a glimpse of a semi-naked P'Arthit but was slightly disappointed to see him fully clothed.
“Nothing P'Arthit krap. I was just remembering something. And no, I haven't gone mad but I am very happy and pleased that you are staying over. It makes my heart soar.” P'Arthit could only smile at the younger man's antics as he sat on the right side of the bed and finished drying his head.
It was only after KongPob had finished showering that the two finally settled in to sleep. KongPob ruffled the blankets before he laid down and turned to face P'Arthit, head propped on his arm.
“What is it now KongPob? Why are you staring at my face like that?” P'Arthit asked actually becoming worried that KongPob was losing it.
“Nothing P'Arthit krap. I just realised that you look soo perfect in my bed and I wouldn't mind going to sleep and waking up next to you everyday.”
“KONGPOB!HUIII!”P'Arthit was flustered and rendered speechless as he suddenly grabbed the blankets and threw them over his head before turning to face the other direction. “Go to sleep now! And don't forget to switch off the lights. Goodnight!”
As usual KongPob smiled as he stared at P'Arthit's back a little longer before commencing to do what he had been asked. As the room got plunged into darkness, he found his comfortable spot before he laid down and resumed his newfound hobby of looking at P'Arthit's back.
P'Arthit squirmed in his state heavily aware of KongPob's gaze which he didn't mind at all but didn't rather didn't know what to do in the situation. It was a first for him to sleep in the same room with someone he was in a relationship with and not be having some kind of other activity going on. Only after a few minutes had passed that KongPob decided to break the silence.
“P'Arthit krap, do you mind if I close this distance between us? I would like to hold you close as we sleep.” He patiently awaited P'Arthit's answer as he could clearly see that he wasn't asleep just yet by his irregular breathing pattern. “P'Arthit krap, did you hear me?” he whispered slowly as he tried to look at his face. He called out two more times before sufficiently concluding that he had come on too strong for P'Arthit's liking and had probably made things unnecessarily uncomfortable for him. With a heavy sigh, KongPob turned to face the other direction when he was abruptly grabbed form behind and P'Arthit embraces him in a cuddle. To say he was surprised was an understatement.
KongPob tried to call out to P'Arthit but the latter pretended to be in deep sleep and maintained his clingliness to the other. KongPob had no choice but to reciprocate the gesture his heart beating as fast as possible as he placed a small kiss on P'Arthit's forehead. P'Arthit slightly adjusted himself, his arm coming around KongPob's neck drawing him even closer while KongPob held P'Arthit's waist. The two soon fell into a dream-like slumber in their lover's embrace soft smiles playing on their lips and remained like that until the wee hours of the next morning.
