They finally arrived at the resort at dawn. P'Bright was exhausted, he had insisted to be the only one who would drive since he didn't want the others to touch his previous baby but that had cost him a lot. 4 times they had almost gotten into an accident as Bright accidentally fell asleep or as he put it slowly blinked his eyes and with the mood already on the verge of crumbling, P'Bright tried his hardest not to rouse it even further with his carelessness so he pumped himself up with as much caffeine and energy drinks to keep going and they had arrived at last.

“We're here guys. Let's check in to the rooms and  rest then later have some fuuunnnn!!!!!!” Bright shouted, trying to uplift their spirits. They all alighted and began to take their luggage with a crying Man behind who was looking for painkillers for his poor aching head. P'Arthit barely glanced at the rest as he took his small backpack from the trunk and went ahead of the rest to the reception area. He had not slept at all the whole ride, his thoughts just muddling over each other.
'Did KongPob purposely cheat on him with that guy?'
'Did KongPob like the other guy more than Arthit?'
'Was this the end of them as a couple?'
'Was this even the first time something like this had happened?'
'Why hadn't KongPob told him about this?'

He was confused and all these questions were running through his mind and the more he thought about it, the more angrier and upset he got.
KongPob watched him go with a crest fallen expression, he wanted to talk to him, to explain but everything was a mess. He tired to put up a nonchalant front for the rest but they could tell from his eyes that he was deeply affected by it inside as well. They caught up to Arthit and were given their room keys. P'Bright had booked 3 rooms, 1 for himself since people complained that he was a noisy and troublesome sleeper, 1 for Knot and Man and 1 for Arthit and KongPob..... a situation that now wasn't very well received.
Arthit and KongPob both looked down on their room keys and a silent, tense air filled around them for a few seconds before Arthit turned around and took Knot's key and exchanged it with it.
“Hoiiiii Arthit, that's mine!” Knot exclaimed as he forcibly exchanged roommates.
“Now it's mine! You should be grateful, you'll get a chance to bond with someone else since this is a boys weekend out isn't it? Besides, I think I've had enough of being in the same space with him, change is good sometimes,” Arthit said as he glared down at KongPob before he left in search of his room.
“Hoiiiiiiii! ARTHIT!! COME BACK HERE!!!” P'Bright shouted already tired of Arthit's attitude. If he could, he would look the two of them up in a room and force them to make up so that they could enjoy their getaway but he doubted that his idea would make them feel any better.
“It's fine P'Bright. I don't have any problems rooming with any of you.” KongPob offered seeking ease the air.
“Don't mind him KongPob, ahh let's get going.” Knot interjected as he grabbed  his things and KongPob followed him.
“Eiiii man,” Bright called out to KongPob, “look, I don't want to personally interfere with this but you must fix whatever's wrong between the two of you. Arthit is my close friend and I don't want to see him hurt. So you do all that you can to make things better alright!”
“Eiiii Bright, stop pressuring KongPob as it is. Both of them need some time.... Just let it be.” Knot said coming into KongPob's defense since he was the more level headed one of the group.
“Mmhh fine. I'll leave it at that.”
Bright went off to his own room and Man tried to compose himself since his roommate was akin to the devil himself.

KongPob and P'Knot arrived at their room and they began unpacking their stuff. The atmosphere was awkward and slightly uncomfortable since it was the first time KongPob would interact with one of P'Arthit's friends without him to regulate the conversation. It was more uncomfortable when they realised that there was only one bed for them to sleep on. The room had been booked for the ever together couple and it hadn't been anticipated that the so-called couple would be in a fight at the moment.
They both looked at the bed then at each other and KongPob couldn't imagine himself sharing a bed with another person who wasn't Arthit. Luckily, P'Knot was able to decipher his silent request and offered to sleep on the couch at the end of the room and let KongPob have the bed. KongPob graciously accepted the offer and thanked P'Knot for the kind gesture as well as for not hating him at the moment since it was his best friend who had gotten hurt by him.
“Don't worry about it KongPob. This is how Artgit is usually like. Just give him time to cool himself down then talk to him. I'm sure it's all a big misunderstanding.”
“How sure are you that I'm not guilty as everyone else thinks?”  KongPob asked as he sat on the bed.
“Because it's you KongPob. Honestly, had it been someone else, I would have totally backed up Arthit 100%  and been as angry as he is but because it's you KongPob, I am more rest assured. You are not the type to knowingly hurt the people you love, especially someone like P'Arthit. You literally worship the ground he walks on. I just wish his stubborn dumb ass would see that and talk to you. That's why I'm telling you not to worry. I believe in you and Arthit will to. Now excuse me, I'm going out to take a walk. Will you be fine alone?” P'Knot asked.

“Yes P'Knot krap. Thank you for your words. I'll be fine on my own so just go and enjoy your walk.” KongPob replied feeling a bit better than someone knew that he wasn't lying. He wishes P'Arthit could see it  as well but he couldn't blame him. KongPob would have reacted in the same way if the roles had been switched. Well, not entirely the same way but he understood where P'Arthit was coming from. God, things were messed up big time. P'Knot waved in farewell before he went out and KongPob laid back on the bed wondering where he would start. He needed to take responsibility for his actions as fast as possible.

KongPob jerked awake and was surprised to see that it was slightly drizzling and was close to 5pm in the evening. He had slept the whole day, he must've been very tired especially with what was going on,he was drained. He ribbed his head as he sat up, getting his bearings right.
“Ohhhh, you're awake? I thought you would sleep the whole day off. Are you hungry? The food buffet is opening in a few minutes,” P'Knot greeted as he out down the book he was reading.
“Ahhh, good evening P'Knot krap. I think I was just tired that's all. Yes, I'd like to go to the buffet... I'm starving.” KongPob replied as he dressed in preparation to leave. “OK then.” Knot waited outside, then they headed out together.
The buffer was being held in an open small space next to the beach so that the guests could enjoy the cool ambience with nice music to groove to as well. The small space was decorated with twinkling rainbow lights and and lace nets with several tables laid out in a circle. From afar KongPob could see that P'Arthit, P'Bright, P'Man had arrived before since they were seated on one table. P'Bright and P'Man were busy drinking abs chatting with some girls, getting into the mood of partying. P'Arthit sulked in the background as he slowly drank his glass of whiskey. He wasn't much of a drinker to begin with, hating the feeling of not fully comprehending himself and his environment but tonight he wanted to lose himself. KongPob and P'Knot arrived at the tabel and P'Knot joined the rest leaving KongPob and Arthit alone on the table. They avoided eye contact as KongPob picked his food and P'Arthit continued drinking. He was about on his 7th glass when KongPob felt the need to speak up.
“P'Arthit krap, I think you've had enough drinks already. If you drink anymore you will feel worse tomorrow morning.” he implored as he got worried about him. His comment didn't go unnoticed by P'Arthit who was silent for a moment before he began chuckling then took a one shot and set the glass down, hard.
“I think I can take care of myself without your generous intervention. You just worry about yourself and leave me alone.” P'Arthit slurred before he rose from the tabel, irritated by KongPob's presence but more irritated at himself.
KongPob had had enough, he rose hastily after P'Arthit and ran up to get over this cold War that was going on between them. His sudden leave caught the attention of the rest who just decided to leave their business up to them.
“P'Arthit krap! P'Arthit krap wait! Stop please!” KongPob called out  as he reached out his hand to catch P'Arthit's.
“P'Arthit krap! Let me explain..... There's nothing between San and I....” KongPob began implotingly but P'Arthit withdrew his hand harshly away from him.
“P'Arthit krap..... Please listen to me....”
“STOP KONGPOB!!!!! WHAT CAN YOU POSSIBLY SAY THAT WOULD MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE!!!!??? What excuses do you have? Fine...... I'll listen if you tell me that what that bastard said isn't true. That he was just making it up. Tell me KongPob, tell me it sisnt true! TELL ME KONGPOB!!!!!!!!!!!” P'Arthit begged angrily as he held KongPob by the collar of his shirt, their eyes meeting for the first time, their volatile emotions mirrorring each other.
“P'Arthit krap,” KongPob muttered his voice trembling as his words failed him.

“I knew it. Don't come near me KongPob. Just leave me alone.” P'Arthit said his anger diminishing being replaced by great sadness and guilt. He wanted to say a lot more harsh words to get his anger out but this was KongPob he was facing, his beloved one and he was hurting as much as P'Arthit was if not more but he needed time. KongPob fell back as Arthit walked away, furiously wiping away his spilling tears. KongPob watched his retreating back, his own tears flowing down his face before he turned back and walked away as well.
