“So, a small review of our cafe is that we have been here for about 3 and a half years and I am proud to say that we have been doing well all these years,” San said a bit of pride seeping through as he led KongPob to the back of the cafe where his brother's office was.
“We opened the cafe after moving back to Thailand from America after my brother finished his diploma of culinary arts,” he continued as he wanted to impress KongPob who had stirred some kind of feeling within him. KongPob only gave minute interjections to show that he was paying attention. Finally they reached a cream-colored door and San knocked twice before entering.

There was a huge black table with several pieces of paper lying around all over, almost in a scattered state. A large man was seated working furiously at the computer, the typing sounds filling the room. A brow of sweat had formed on his forehead and that caused his round glasses to slide down his nose.
He had a clean shaven head with only a slight buzz of growth on it. He was significantly older than San but you could tell they were brothers from the skin tone and eyes.
“What do you want now San? If you can't tell, I'm quite busy now,” the man said not even bothered to lift his head, using English to communicate.
“P'Mun, I've brought someone to see you,” San replied in Thai causing P'Mun to stare up.

“Ohhh, sorry. I assumed that you were alone.” he apologised when he noticed KongPob standing next to San. “Please, have a seat.” P'Mun gestured as he moved some papers aside and temporarily paused in his work.
“So, what brings you here?” He asked as he stared at the two.
“Well P'Mun, I know you said that you were ok managing all the work but with the baby only a week away, I know you won't have time to be here and be with P'Stay so... I took the liberty of looking for a part - time worker who would fill in while you are away,” San said getting on his brother's nerves once again for going against his words.

“Ahh San! I told you not to! Why don't you ever listen to anything I say!! We are fine. I still will be ae to do my work after the baby,” P'Mun reprimanded as he tried to control his frustration against San.
“Come on P'Mun! You know that P'Stay will need you home more after the baby arrives and I am more than capable of handling the office work and part-time worker will help with other duties. Stop being so stubborn and let me help you. Besides, you will also get the advantage of resting for a while and enjoy life. You work too hard you know,” San replied relaxing in his seat, a smirk on his lips knowing he had won the argument.
All that while, KongPob had just sat there feeling more like an intruder than a visitor and quite frankly he was uncomfortable. The brothers had started off in Thai but somewhere along the line they had switched to English and though KongPob could understand, he wasn't so sure about taking up the job anymore. It seemed as though the two had unresolved issues between them.

Graining at San's logic, P'Mun couldn't help but acknowledge his validation. With the baby coming soon,he knew Stay would need his help as much as possible. Even so he couldn't help but glare at San, that sly bastard!
“Ok, fine. I give in.”he sighed as he rubbed his eyes in hopes of relieving his stress. “Then.... Let me introduce to you KongPob. He is going to be our new worker.” San exclaimed as he gesture towards his side.

“Sawadee krap. My name is KongPob krap.” KongPob greeted as well mannered as possible.
“Mhhhh, Sawadee. I apologise for my brother and I's earlier behaviour, we were just figuring things out. I hope you will excuse us for that.” P'Mun replied as he shot a few glares at San. He turned to focus on the new hire and couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. He was fairly young and seemed intelligent. He gave off an air of a person of higher status but he didn't seem tooo exuberant. P'Mun had a feeling he would come to like the young man.
“As much as I want to just accept you into the business, I hope you don't mind me asking you a few questions.”
“Of course not. Ask anything you need to know,” KongPob replied.
“Can you tell me a bit about yourself?”P'Mun asked as he laid back.
