KongPob arrived at the condo later than he expected having taken a small detour. He had stopped by the mall to buy a small gift for the next day given the short notice of events. He had contemplated for a whole on what to get a new born baby before then settling for a heart warming gift card and a charm bracelet that would bring good luck and happiness to the girl. He reached P'Arthit's around 8:15 pm and before he could even fish for his keys, the door suddenly opened reveling a rushed P'Arthit on the other side.
“Ahwuuuu KongPob!! Why are you sooo late? I thought you would arrive home before me and when I came, I didn't find you. I was just about to go out and get you since I thought you were still waiting for me at the shop.” P'Arthit commented as he stepped aside and let KongPob in.
“I'm sorry for worrying and keeping you waiting P'Arthit krap. I just had to go to the mall and get some things and get our dinner as well.” KongPob mentioned as he settled his bags down.
“Really?! Then we have more thane enough food for today and tomorrow because I also bought food on the way home.” P'Arthit said as he pointed to the food bags on the dining table. KongPob could only smile as he saw that they had bought the exact same thing for supper even, the drinks.
“Pahh, just put your food in the fridge and we will eat them later tomorrow. Why don't you shower then we can eat.” KongPob nodded and put his food into the fridge then proceeded to take a shower.

P'Arthit unpacked their dinner before properly arranging KongPob's shopping. He noticed a small pink gift bag and checked to just see a card and a small case present. 'Was today an important day that Arthit had missed? Why did KongPob buy a gift?' Arthit questioned himself, a frown settled into his face, his thick eyebrows creasing. He tried to remember the date of the day and any special dates in regards to KongPob but nothing came up.
He was still confused when he came up with nothing even as KongPob came out of the bathroom. “Eiii KongPob, is today a special day that I need to know because I just noticed you bought a gift bag,” he asked concerned that he had missed something important.
“Oh?” KongPob exclaimed confused for a minute before catching on what P'Arthit meant.
“Ohhh, no P'Arthit. That's just a gift i bought for P'Mun the cafe owner. I was invited to go to his daughter's party tomorrow by San and I thought of buying a small gift.” KongPob explained as he plated his food.
“Again? You're going out with that San guy again? Haven't you learnt from last time you were with him?!?!” P'Arthit asked seriously irritated by that San. Whay did he want KongPob to always be with him? And why did KongPob agree to go with him? Did KongPob like this guy?
“P'Arthit, I'm not going out with San. I'm going to San's brother's party to see his child. That's all! There's no need to be jealous P'Arthit! I'm yours only,” KongPob said reaching over to hold P'Arthit's hand.
“If it bothers you that much, I can refrain from going then.”

The both of them were silent for a few seconds before P'Arthit withdrew his hand, sort of harshly. “Oiiii! Who said anything about being jealous? Why do you keep bringing that up when we are talking about that guy? I am just worried about KongPob! If you want to go then go! In fact, send my greetings to them! Just don't eat anything you know will give you problems, I won't take care of you this time alright?!!” Jealous pfffft! Arthit Perawat never got jealous! Never! 'Why should I get jealous of a guy who doesn't even know what you like to eat?' P'Arthit scoffed as he stuffed food into his mouth, his eyes turned into slots and face red.

KongPob was amused at P'Arthit's obvious jealousy and how he tried to mask it. It was ok, KongPob understood where he was coming from since they were just in a young relationship but P'Arthit didn't need to worry about that. For KongPob, it was only P'Arthit for him. He continued eating, slowly watching P'Arthit who was filling his mouth with spicy curry, his eyes darting from left to right still not along with the idea of KongPob and San being in the same space outside work. They finished eating in silence before going to bed. KongPob spooned P'Arthit which immediately caused another scuffle to emerge.
P'Arthit was very uncooperative, trying to evade KongPob's sweet touches while KongPob pursued him until finally P'Arthit relentlessly gave up and let KongPob have his way. Or so P'Arthit let himself think. They finally settled into each other and drifted off.

KongPob arrived at P'Mun's residence punctually at 10 am as required. He was well dressed in a pair of khaki jeans, a read buttoned up shirt and black sneakers. He had bought a bouquet of white and pink flowers for the mother and rang the bell. P'Mun's house was locates in a well-off area and from outside seemed to be a two storey house. The gate was opened up after a few minutes and KongPob came face to face with P'Mun.
“Ahwuuuu! KongPob, what...... what.. are you doing here? How did you even know where I live?” P'Mun asked surprised that one of his employees was at his door.
“Ohhh, uhhh - Sawadee krap P'Mun, I.. I'm here because,” KongPob tried to find the words since he thought San would have already informed his brother about his arrival.
“I invited him over P'Mun, relax,” San said suddenly coming up behind P'Mun and patted his shoulders.

“What.... you...” P'Mun began to question but San cut him off by grabbing KongPob's arm and dragged him inside. KongPob felt so out if place bt then but just followed San in. P'Mun stood by his gate almost lagging out before he finally closed the gate and followed behind them.
“I'm sooo glad you could make it KongPob. Thank you.” San said as he ushered KongPob out to the backyard where the feast was happening. A few people had arrived though it seemed as though they weren't started yet. “I'm happy to be here but I don't think P'Mun was aware of my coming,” KongPob observed. “Ohhh, we were just busy that's all. I must have forgotten to have tokd him about it. But no need to worry, I'm sure he's delighted to have you here.” San tried to reaffirm KongPob who now really felt out of place. San wanted to stay and show KongPob around the lavish, vintage-modern house but he was harshly called back in by his brother who wasn't very happy at the moment.
"What is it P'Mun” San asked irritated that Mun had once again cut into his time with KongPob.
“Don't even start with me San. What is KongPob doing here? I know that you have a thing for him and all but this is my house and my party so I want to know why he is here? Don't you think you're going overboard with this? You guys aren't even dating yet!!Look at him, he doesn't fit on with any body and looks uncomfortable!” P'Mun scolded San as he couldn't believe his attempts to get close to KongPob.

“Ohh come on Mun! What's your problem? I invited him as my friend and I wanted to include him in something important to me because it's not only your daughter's party but also my niece's sooo I can invite whoever I want. Besides, it's not like he's a total stranger and he came bearing gifts, how can you turn him away?” San retaliated disregarding his brother's opinions. “Look, stop stressing about it and just enjoy the party OK? Let me take care of KongPob” San finally said evading the conversation since he didn't want it to turn into an argument.
He left before P'Mun could say anything else and rejoined KongPob who had taken a seat on one of the tables in the back. P'Mun wanted to run after him but luckily, he became distracted by other things that needed his attention. San took a seat next to KongPob who was delicately taking in the things around him.
“Is everything ok ?” KongPob questioned as San sat down. “What.......ohh,yes. Everything is perfect. Just P'Mun checking on things. Don't worry. Why don't you show me the gift you got? Let's compare ours.” San wisely switched conversation dragging KongPob along with him. KongPob went along to share his humble gifts oblivious to San's incredulous stare, his leaning posture nor his draping arm on his chair as San shifted his seat closer.
