As soon as the clock struck 2, KongPob left the cafe as fast as possible. San had no way of catching up to him no matter how much he wanted to. The last 3 hours had been a kin to hell as KongPob worked quite far from him and was as detached as possible. He kept wondering why he had done such a stupid and impulsive thing that had successfully ruined his chances and the closeness he had gained with KongPob. It was almost like the two were strangers and even more so San was a stranger that KongPob now wanted to avoid.
KongPob decided to head back to his home instead to of going to P'Arthit's. He couldn't seem to muster the strength to face P'Arthit with the knowledge that another guy had just kissed him. For him it was something he couldn't take lightly. He needed some time to get himself together and reorganise his thoughts before seeing P'Arthit and home was the only answer for him at the moment.
His parents were glad to see him either way as they had resigned to not having in the house that much anymore. His mother pampered him as much as possible which was well welcomed by KongPob who felt a need to distract himself from reality for a few minutes. It was obvious that he felt guilty a bit for what happened in the cafe earlier. All was good and well until KongPob got a call from P'Arthit later that night. KongPob was conflicted, should he answer the call and pretend that nothing had happened or ignore the call completely to save himself. The phone rang twice the full length before he decided to pick. For now, he would act as though nothing happened. He knew Arthit well enough to be aware that once he knew what had happened, things would escalate quite fast.

“P'Arthit krap,” KongPob answered as he sat on his bed.
“KongPob, where are you? I thought your evening shift had been changed to an afternoon one so I expected you to be here all day or did I misinterpret something?” Arthit asked on the other line confused for a moment.
“No krap. I just went back to my home for today P'Arthit. I'll be back tomorrow. KongPob said not going into details of the day. Honestly he wanted to erase that memory.
“Ohhhhhhh hh. Then you should have juts texted me so that I don't worry much. But why are you home? Did something happen?” P'Arthit asked as he could sense something out of place. KongPob never just went home without telling him especially on a weekday.
“Nothing krap. I just felt like coming home for a bit. My parents have also been asking for me lately krap.” KongPob replied, feeling horrible for lying and nervous in the inside.
“Eiiiiiii KongPob, now I know something is wrong. I can hear it in your voice. What is it KongPob. Come on and tell me. I'll help if I can.” P'Arthit said his voice taking a soft tone as he also sat down on his bed.
KongPob was touched. He knew that P'Arthit gave him special attention but he didn't know that it was to this extent. He wanted to spill everything but something held him back as he didn't want drama at the moment. Hoiiiiii , everything was complicated now since San had stepped over the line!!!

P'Arthit waited patiently on the other side as KongPob tried to get his head right before KongPob finally gave an answer. “It's really nothing P'Arthit krap, I just had a small misunderstanding with one of my friends today, that's all.” he replied vaguely slipping in some truth.
P'Arthit couldn't explain why he felt relieved at his answer but he did. He was sure it was something much deeper since KongPob had just went back home but knowing it was just a friend's argument P'Arthit was much more at peace.
“Ahhhhhh, that's normal KongPob. You are going to fight with close friends sometimes over the most stupid things but don't worry about it. You will reconcile sooner or later. Don't let that make your mood get down. Just sleep over it today then tomorrow you will figure things out ok.” P'Arthit reassured KongPob knowing how much KongPob disliked arguing with his friends. He was more peaceable and preffered resolving conflicts that creating them. He knew that KongPob was probably beating himself up for whatever happened and Arthit didn't want him to think like that. Tomorrow was a new day and they could come together then. Unlike Arthit, KongPob was level headed and was one who would see reason first making sure that they forgave each other and forgot the past while Arthit was more stubborn and held grugdes for a long time.
KongPob tried to listen to P'Arthit's advice but he knew this was a different story they were talking about. Nevertheless, he reassured P'Arthit that all will be well with him and that he shouldn't worry that much about KongPob. They ended the call soon after and KongPob felt heavy laden within his heart.
That night he kept thinking of a way to solve this unbearable situation but didn't find an answer. He lay awake until the wee hours of the early morning did he find rest and fell into a very much disturbed sleep. This drama was coming full circle.
