Pov - Cyrus

Tj hasn't talked to me in 3 days.  I've been here for about a week, so I'm only here for one more.  I still have time to try and fix things with Tj, but I don't know how.

I also haven't seen him at all.  It's like he walked off the face of the earth.  I mean, I haven't left the hotel in 3 days so he could be out and about, but I don't know.  Even though I'm pretty sure he's at the beach, I still wouldn't dare to face that awkward confrontation.

I'm sitting at the breakfast table, eating breakfast by myself yet again.  I only wish Tj were sitting in front of me.  I try to drift my mind to another place, but that doesn't work.  It seems like my mind has just been focused on Tj this trip.  Maybe I need to change that up.

Suddenly a handsome blonde boy sits in front of me.  Reed it is, yet again.

"Hey," he says with a smile.

"Hey," I say, managing to smile.

"No Tj?" he asks, having a smug expression on his face.

I look down at the table. "No,"

"Did something happen between you two?" 

"No," I say trying not to make it obvious that something actually did happen.

"Okay, cool," he says. "What have you been up to? I haven't seen you around lately."

"Just chilling in my hotel room." I say.

"How can you do that for so long?" he says. "I would get bored of it easily."

"Yeah well it isn't the most fun," 

"What if we did something fun?" he asks.

I look up at him.  What does he mean?

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well, do you wanna do something later.  I'll plan it all out," he says.  Is he talking about a date?  I'm too scared to ask about it.

"We could go get dinner or something. It'll be fun," he adds.  It's definitely a date. 

I think about it for a second.  Would going out with Reed help me get over Tj?  Or would it just make things worse?  I know something happened between Reed and Tj that I don't know.  They both seem on edge about it.  What if Tj saw me with Reed?  

Instead of the negatives I try to think of the positives.  Reed was always nice to me.  Reed didn't kiss me and then ditch me.  This is a new opportunity for me.  Maybe I should just try it out and see what happens.

"Sure, that sounds great," I say with a smile.

"Great!" he says with a smile. "What's your number so I can text you the times?" 

He finally asked for my number.  I give it to him as he puts it in his phone.

"Alright it's a date!" he says standing up to leave.  It's 100% a date.

Maybe I should just take new opportunities, you never know what tonight will bring.  I'm actually excited.  

I stand up and throw my trays away and head to my room.  I need to find something nice to wear.

Pov - Tj

I'm currently sitting on my usual railing on by the beach facing the ocean.  I came today with Amber early like I have for the past 3 days.  I just can't confront Cyrus right now and tell him what happened in the moment.  He would also comment on my new choice of clothing.
