Chapter 24.  Calgary Hospital

Ty arrived at the main Surgical Hospital and went to reception to Introduce himself and book in so the Doctor would know he's there.
Thank you Dr Borden says the nurse, you can wait in the seating area near the Doctors office, you remember where that is.
"Yes, thank you. "
Ty walked through and found the seating area and poured a coffee, then pulled his phone out to call Jack.
After talking to a disgruntled Jack, Ty just told him he was closer to the Hospital than he was Heartland.
Jack knew his Truck probably wouldn't make it to Calgary, here he is again, stuck because of his Stubbornness to get a more modern Truck. Just like his Stubbornness to get a Security system which would of saved his youngest Granddaughter getting Kidnapped and possibly killed.
Just like his Stubbornness over Heartland almost cost him losing Amy, Ty, and Lyndy who were going to Leave Heartland. Even Lou wont speak to him nor his wife Lisa, he'd also noticed Ty's shortness with him over him not locking the Door.
He thought to himself what an Old Fool he is, will Amy hate him too, she's back in surgery because of HIM.
He decides to swallow his pride and phone Lisa, he needs to start there.
After 30 minutes Lisa turns up and tells Jack he has some serious problems that he needs to work out before he loses everyone he Loves. He agrees and asks Lisa to help him, she says that she will but for now they need to be there for Amy, although what her attitude towards Jack will be once she learns the truth!!!!!!
After 4 hrs of surgery Amy is in Recovery and the Surgical Procedure went perfectly. The Doctors were happy with the outcome. It meant Amy had to start all over again but this time precautions would be taken although Ty didn't think it would happen again given the outcome of the rescue.
Jack and Lisa turned up about 2 hrs before, Ty and Lisa had been talking about what happened and how Ahmed decided to try and fight, although given where they found him he was more concerned about revenge than getting away which cost him his life.
Dr Hammond called Ty over and took him to see Amy.
Jack n Lisa saw her later on when Ty went to take a break. Ty took a photo of Amy and sent it to Lou to let her see that her sister was fine.

It had been 3 weeks and Amy still hadn't woken up. They were still trying to identify the Drug that was given to her. Ty was sat in the Chair holding Amy's hand and talking to her, Amy was lost, she wanted a way out, she could hear Ty talking to her and was listening as carefully as she could.  Amy was trying to follow the voice when she heard another voice, she thought she recognized it but it couldn't be because she was only a Baby but she did know that voice,  that voice used to sing to her and all it was saying was *Just open your eyes Amy your already out. *.
Amy tried as hard as she could and was moving her fingers and her head without knowing what she was doing.
Ty saw she was trying to wake up so bent over her and Kissed her for as long as he could ,then he felt her arms wrap around his neck and her hands move into his hair. 
Ty pulled back and saw her Blue eyes and a smile worth more than anything else in the world.

"Hey gorgeous,  I've  missed you." Ty said quietly,  "so glad to have you back. "
"Think you need to press da button to say I'm back." Amy said with a slight giggle in her voice. While the Doctor was checking Amy Ty sent a text to Lou asking her to bring Lynzy so Amy could see her.
An hour later and Lou turned up,  Jack n Lisa had gone home, Ty saw Lou out the corner of his eye, "Would you like to see our daughter " Ty said and Amy teared up nodding.  "Can you bring her in tomorrow please ".
"No need" Lou said as she appeared from behind the curtain ,as soon as Lynzy saw her mom she put her arms out "Moma" and Amy started crying holding her arms out too.

One month Later and Amy's back at home with both Wheelchairs,  Ty explained how the intruders gained entry.
"What the Hell" amy said.
Ty explained " Jack messed up there Hotel booking and it was to late for anywhere else so drove home, Lisa told him to go straight to Fairfield but he said no and came home. He was pissed off anyway but even more so when he found the door locked. Lisa told him you were home alone and felt safer with the Doors and windows locked.  She told him to lock up the door again and he started moaning again about how he'd never had to lock his door,  but Lisa stopped him and made him think about someone  following you and locking the door for your safety,  then went to bed.
He hung the key up, took his coat off then went to bed. Lisa said she even asked him before they went to sleep if he'd locked the door and he apparently mumbled yes,,
"I can't believe he did that, my safety and he didn't give it a second thought.
Right, from now on we do things and don't tell him till its been done.  Okay."
"Okay Ames, I think that's the best thing to do,  and that's exactly what Lou said too, you both think on the same lines , do you know that????".
"Do you think so Ty!".
" Oh yes definitely. "
"Ty, tomorrow can you sort out the Security for getting it all fitted, you know,  the gate, the Barn and doors of the house ect".
" Be my pleasure my Love".
Amy smiled,  she so loved it when he said that. Amy curled up to Ty and they both fell a sleep.
