3rd Person POV
‘Oh crap we've been caught!’ The both of them thought.
"Come out, or else I'll have to make you." She said calmly
"Sh-should we go, Tanjirou?" Zenitsu whispered.
"Do you want to?" He whispered back.
"Yes, I want, but............"
"But?"
"You said no."
"Well now, do you want to?"
"Yes."
"Then get your hood up, and cover your face. We gotta show ourselves, just not our faces. After that, we make a run for it. Agree?"
"Hai."
Then Tanjirou jumped up to the top of the tree. Zenitsu, at first, didn't know what to do. A moment later, he followed Tanjirou to the top. Even though it was dark, Zenitsu saw Nezuko looking at them.
"Z-Zenitsu? I-Is th-that you?" She asked trying to hold back her tears.
"Oh crap, Tanjirou what should I do?" Zenitsu whispered.
"Well, we've been caught." Tanjirou said out loud.
"Tanjirou?! I thought we're not gonna talk?" Zenitsu said out loud too.
"N-nii-chan?" Nezuko asked.
Tanjirou removed his hood, which Zenitsu did also. Zenitsu jumped down, leaving Tanjirou in the tree. Then Nezuko dropped her sword and ran to Zenitsu who greeted her with open arms, and hugged her.
"Z-Zenitsu, what are you doing here?" She asked as she pulled away from the hug, wanting to see her lover's face.
"Uhhhh........ Ask your brother?" Zenitsu shyly said.
"Nii-chan, you thought of this?"
"That's what you call: Supportive brother." Tanjirou joked.
"N-Nii-chan!!!!"
"What?" Tanjirou teasingly asked.
"Zenitsu. Look." Tanjirou said while pointing in the distance behind Nezuko.
"What?" Zenitsu asked.
"Other soon-to-be slayers are coming."
"See you soon, Nezuko-chan~" Zenitsu sweetly said his farewell.
"W-wait, Zenitsu!" Nezuko said as she pulled his wrist and kissed him in the cheek, which made Zenitsu blush really hard. And made Tanjirou jump down from the tree and drag Zenitsu away with him. All gone in the dark night.
In the Butterfly Estate
"OI! MONJIRO! MONITSU! WHERE WERE YOU!!!" Inosuke asked the two as they came back.
"Oh! We...... We were just........ In the park! Yeah!" Tanjirou said.
"Yeah! We went to the park." Zenitsu said.
"Anyways, Tontaro, Hanao went to your house." Inosuke said.
"Ok." Tanjirou replied.
"See you tomorrow! Goodbye Zenitsu! Inosuke!" He added.
At Tanjirou's Home
"Kanao? Are you in here?" Tanjirou asked while entering the door.
"Wait! Coming-oops!" Kanao yelled as she fell down. She was waiting to hit the cold, hard ground and closed her eyes, but she didn't. She opened her eyes and she saw Tanjirou standing there preventing her fall. "Ah........ Eh........ Um...... Sorry!" She said.
"It's okay. You were gonna fall." He replied.
"Thanks."
"Anyways, what brought you here?"
"Can't I visit?"
"You can, but it's just unexpected."
"So you don't want me here." She said while nodding and walking away.
"When did I ever say that." He said as he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a hug.
"Eeeeehh?! Tanjirou, you idiot!"
Timeskip to after the final selection. (Sorry I can't anymore. I'm imagining them and they're way too adorable.)
With Nezuko
‘There's many of us left. I mean the trainers are hashiras, so that's why. Nii-chan said that in his batch there were only five of them left by the end of the final selection.’ Nezuko thought.
"Welcome back." Kanata and Kiriya said.
"Congratulations." Kanata said.
"We are pleased to see that you are safe." Kiriya said.
"Today, we shall issue you all uniforms in which your rank will be engraved." Kanata said.
"There are ten ranks in all." Kiriya said.
"Kinoe" Kanata said
"Kinoto" Kiriya said
"Hinoe" Kanata said
"Hinoto"Kiriya said
"Tsuchinoe" Kanata said
"Tsuchinoto"Kiriya said
"Kanoe"Kanata said
"Kanoto"Kiriya said
"Mizunoe"Kanata said
"and Mizunoto"Kiriya said
"Currently, you are at the lowest rank. Mizunoto." Kanata said.
"Today, we will let you choose the ores for your swords, which will take about 10 to 15 days to complete." Kiriya said.
"But first....... *Clap, clap.* We will now assign each of you your own Kasugai crow. These crows are used primarily for communication." Kanata said.
Timeskip after they're done with the rest.
"Goodbye now." Kanata and Kiriya said.
As Nezuko was walking down the mountain, she was greeted by four familiar faces. "Nii-chan! Nee-san! Zenitsu-san! Inosuke-san! What're you doing here?" She asked them.
"We wanted to greet you and congratulate you for passing of course." Kanao said.
"We missed you." Tanjirou said.
"Nezukooo-chaaaaaannnn~" Zenitsu sweetly said while waving, even though they were like a meter away from each other.
"OI! GONPACHIRO'S SISTER!!!! FIGHT ME!!!!" Inosuke shouted.
"Geez! Inosuke! Calm down! Can't you see she's tired?" Tanjirou said.
"Anyways Nezuko, are you alright? Can you still walk? Because we still have a long way to go." He added.
"I'm fine nii-cha-" She was cut of by Zenitsu.
"I'll carry you Nezuko-chan!"
"Hands off my sister!"
