Chapter 15

(A/n There are names of some other anime characters from other animes, so......... I'm sorry, I'm not very good at coming up with names so I just used their name. Again I'm sorry.)

Tanjirou's POV

As I 'detected' the scent of more demons coming, I looked to both of my sides to see if they were already in sight.......

Then I saw it....

Hordes of demons are running to us....

I grabbed the man and shouted to my friends. "Jump!"

Then we jumped up to the roof of the house. The roof of the house was big enough for all of us. But we couldn't fight there, since the people would wake up. I had to think of a plan. Fast! I looked down and saw that the demons were fighting on who gets their food. Great, enough time to think of a plan.

I remember seeing a forest just outside of the village. Maybe we could lure them there and split up so we can fight our own groups of demons. But, what about the man? That's it! "Sir, may I ask where your house is?" I asked the man. "Th-there." He pointed to the house Kanao was looking at before. "Okay sir, we will drop you off there and as soon as you reach the house, please go in and lock the door and every window you have." I said. "Okay, he replied. Then I explained the plan to my friends and they nodded. "At the count of three......." I said.

"1...."

"2...."

"3!"

And we took off to the man's house and waited for him to lock his windows and doors.

When he's done, we ran to the demons and made them run after us to the forest and split up. As expected, they split up to their own groups too. There were about 20 demons following each of us.......

Wait.... Demons aren't allowed to band together as a rule, right? Then, why? They couldn't have been planning to form a group and attack Kibutsuji, because of the Kibutsuji curse. And they were fighting before. Could it have been an act? If there are so many demons in just one village, how come there are only one or two victims every night? If they are this many, there should be more than 50 every night. Could it be? That they-

9:31 pm

As I was deep in thought, my chain of thoughts were interrupted when I saw that my friends were out of sight, which means I have to fight now. I turned around and attacked the demons who got here first.

"Water Breathing Eighth Form: Waterfall Basin!" I said as I ran forward and jumped, beheading the demons below me. (A/n Like in ep.6 but he decapitated them this time.)

As soon as I killed the demons about four or five demons came and ran to me.

"Water Breathing Third Form: Flowing Dance!" I said then attacked. Then more of them came....

Inosuke's POV

9:31 pm

I didn't see Monjiro, Monitsu, and Hanao anymore so I looked around and saw demons running to me on both sides so I attacked.

"Beast Breathing Sixth Fang: Palisade Bite!" (A/n From: Kimetsu no Yaiba Wiki)

And after that more demons came, so I kept on attacking and decapitating.....

Zenitsu's POV

9:31 pm

Ehhh?! Why did I agree to this plan? Why?! I don't want to die yet! Oh yeah.... I agreed to this because I thought we would be in pairs........... But NO!! Why?! Why?! Why did they leave me with these demons?!

As I turned around to see if I had lost those demons, I didn't see a single demon. So I sighed in relief. But then....... I heard footsteps.

And they came running so me so I fainted........... I don't remember anything after that.

3rd Person POV (just so I can explain what Zenitsu did)

When Zenitsu fainted, he stood up (unconscious) and said: "Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash....... Sixfold!" And he decapitated the demons......

Kanao's POV

9:31 pm

I looked back and I didn't see them anymore so I decided to fight. I turned around and saw that all the demons caught up with me and started attacking. So I went on the defensive.

"Flower Breathing Second Form: Honorable Shadow Plum!" After that I attacked.

"Flower Breathing Fifth Form: Peonies Of Futility!"

3rd Person POV

By the time that they finished the battle, it was already past 10 pm.

Then they went back to the village to check if there are any more demons. As they were passing by the man's house that they saved before, the man went out of his house and blocked their path which made them stop.

"Ummm.... I haven't said this earlier but, thank you for saving me." The man said.

"It's no problem sir. After all, it is our job." Tanjirou said.

"I'm sorry if you find this rude but..... May I ask for your names?" The man asked.

"Of course! My name is Kamado Tanjirou, the boy with the boar mask on is Hashibira Inosuke, the yellow-haired boy is Agatsuma Zenitsu, and the girl with the butterfly hair tie is Tsuyuri Kanao." As Tanjirou introduced them, they said hello.

"K-Kanao?" The man said on the verge of tears.

"Y-yes sir? Do I know you?" Kanao asked.

"Is it really you? Why did you change your last name? Why did you suddenly disappear? What happened?" He asked.

"What do you mean, sir?" Kanao asked.

"Don't you remember me, sis?" He asked.

"Sis?" Zenitsu asked.

"Yes." He said then turned to Kanao. "Yugi Amane."

Then Kanao looked like she was remembering something. A moment later, her eyes were filled with tears.

"Do you remember me now?" Amane asked.
