"We've got no time to waste," Emma swung the door open before casting a fleeting glance back at Ray and Ninelie, "I have to go the Seven Walls,"

"Wait Emma, I'll—" Ray's attempt to intervene was cut short by Ninelie's interruption.

"Do you even know how to get there?" Ninelie inquired, stepping closer to Emma with a curious gaze fixed on her eyes.

"Yes, I do," Emma affirmed confidently, her right hand gripping the amulet firmly.

"Are you sure?" Ninelie smiled, addressing Emma. "You couldn't even get near us back then, could you?"

Ray, puzzled, approached Ninelie, seeking clarification. "What are you talking about?"

"Back then?" Emma mused, attempting to unravel Ninelie's cryptic reference. "What do you mean?"

"That time you got a glimpse of the Day and Night," Ninelie disclosed, inching closer to Emma and extending her hand towards the orange-haired girl's clenched fist, which held the amulet.

"When I saw you, I was relieved to see you were still alive," Ninelie admitted.

And you happened to have the one thing I need the most.

"Wait... what?" Emma recoiled, realization dawning, 'That was really her?'

In a moment of panic, she removed the amulet from her body and hurled it to the ground after it began to cause her to experience a burning sensation on her skin.

"Ah!" Emma winced, taking several steps back and leaning on the stair railings in pain.

Ninelie and Ray hastened to Emma's aid, their confusion and concern palpable.

"What's wrong?" Ninelie asked, "You just suddenly..."

"I-It suddenly burned my chest, I don't know why!" Emma trembled, closing her eyes.

"It burned your chest?" A look of bewilderment passed between Ray and Ninelie. As a result of Ninelie's decision to examine Emma's chest and hand for any signs of burns, she discovered that Emma sustained no injuries at all.

"What are you talking about? You're fine," Ninelie assured her.

Peeking through her eyelids, Emma examined her chest, finding no wounds or burn marks. "What the heck? Then, how did that just happen?"

Looking at her right palm, Emma was surprised to see that there wasn't a single wound nor a burn mark on it as she expected it to have.

"Did you really just pull a prank on us at a time like this, Emma?" Ray asked, annoyed.
