"RAAY!" The exclamation burst forth as Ninelie sprang out of the closet, "I think I figured it out!"

As she descended and scrutinized Ray, her initial excitement morphed into a stoic expression. The elderly Ray struggled to maneuver his hand behind his ear, looking bewildered.

"Huh? Whaddya say??? Who are ya?"

"Get... GETA HOLD OF YOURSELF, OLD MAN!" Ninelie's fists clenched as she sprinted toward the senior, delivering a resounding slap and seizing his collar.

Releasing his collar, Ninelie anxiously awaited Ray's return to lucidity. He gingerly touched his cheek and then realized he had reverted to his normal self. Ray, now perplexed, gazed at the girl.

   "Ninelie? The real one?!"

"Yeah, the real one!" She bellowed, her voice unwavering, "I figured it out. It was exactly like you said, Ray. That the Seven Walls are the space and time, that this place is a mess, and that the key is our mind."

Despite Ninelie's attempt to convey her revelation, Ray looked at her with utter confusion, "What?"

"A-Alright! I'll lay it out step by step!" Ray crouched down to meet Ninelie at eye level as she commenced her explanation, "First, this place's space and time is chaos. It's unstable, right?"

   "Yeah." He nodded.

"And, those scenes line up with the things we know about!"

   "...Well."

Ninelie gazed earnestly into Ray's eyes, a spark of determination igniting her own. She endeavored to convey the intricacies of their surreal surroundings, choosing her words carefully, "This location is linked to our consciousness. Consciously as well as unconsciously. To put it another way, our consciousness is interfering. And this is the kind of place where it can happen."

Ray's eyes widened in disbelief, his voice betraying his astonishment. "What?!" he exclaimed, struggling to fathom the implications of Ninelie's revelation.

"It's perspicuous, right? The point is that it appears to be reliant on our minds. We just haven't noticed it, but this place is capable of doing so," Pausing to catch her breath after the torrent of information, she added, "We can transcend the space-time of the walls in this maze!"

Ray, still grappling with the concept, raised his hands in a plea for clarity, "Hey, wait a sec. For that kind of jumbled-up hypothesis... what's the basis?"

Ninelie pursed her lips, a hint of uncertainty in her eyes, and then shrugged, "I don't have one. But we kind of did it just a bit ago."

His eyes widened in disbelief as he processed her words.
