A/N - Because you guys are so awesome, here's an early update! Major fluff alert!!!

Also, I love this picture I can't he's adorable :)

Leo's POV

I had just dropped off Y/N at work and couldn't get my thoughts straight as I‌ made my way back to the lair. Things between us were going really well, and I‌ was terrified of screwing things up.

She was the light in my life, the one constant I kept turning to. She was always there when I‌ needed her, and now she was even there for the team. I couldn't help but feel the need to do something for her.

Okay, Leo, just relax.

I exhaled slowly as I entered the dojo and unsheathed my swords, practicing my fighting techniques. As I‌ swung them through the air with as much precision as I could, her gorgeous face appeared in my mind. That smile, and those deep eyes.

My cheeks were heating up, and I could feel my stance waver. Okay, okay, try again. I‌ adjusted myself and started over. Peace surrounded me, and I moved with accuracy.

Practicing these techniques helped me think about things. I‌ pondered Y/N and the best way I could ask her out. I wasn't going to be a coward again, like before. Yeah, I was still beating myself up about it.

All I knew was that I was going to make everything perfect. I had to, for Y/N.

Your POV

I scrubbed the counter with an old rag, trying to get a pesky grease stain off as the last customer finally left the pizza shop.

Thank God.

Right when they turned the corner, I bounded over to the front door and turned the door sign to "Closed". Luckily, everything was already swept up and they had cleaned up after themselves, so I‌ returned to the countertop.

My boss stepped out from the office behind the kitchen and yawned, tossing me the keys. "Lock up today. Have a good night."

I watched as he grabbed his jacket from the coat hook and left, just like that. "Bye." I didn't think he heard.

Finally, I finished scrubbing and tossed the rag in a bin. After scanning the tables for any crumbs I missed, I switched off the lights and locked the front door behind me as‌ I‌ left.

Before I could register what was going on, I was picked up and flipped upside down, kisses being pressed to my cheeks. Leo was holding me in front of him.

"Jeez, Leo, you almost gave me a heart attack!" I said in between giggles.

He finally stopped the sweet torture and shifted me so he was holding me bridal-style, my favorite way. "I‌ missed you today."

I reached up to kiss his cheek. "You say that every day."

His eyes, my most favorite blue eyes in the universe, burned into mine. "Because it's true every day."

Butterflies erupted in my stomach, and my grin was probably blinding. "You're the best."

Leo kissed my forehead and we disappeared into the shadows, finding our way back to the lair.

Or so I thought.

When I finally looked up, I saw that we were on the fire escape of my apartment. I looked at him questioningly. "Aren't we going back to your place?"

"I thought you might want to change into something more comfortable, you know, out of your work clothes," he explained as he put me down.

I‌ nodded and lifted my window up, carefully stepping through and closing it slightly behind me. He moved to the side to give me some privacy.
