A/N - I am super grateful for every single one of you! Thank you for reading! I had an idea for a fun chapter before things get crazy plot wise, so enjoy!

Your POV

Even though I didn't want to be spotted by my parents, I let Leo take me up to the surface once it started getting dark. We walked the rooftops and he carried me when we jumped to the next one. I just wanted to get lost in the night for a while.

"Angel, you still good?"

I looked up at Leo. Concern laced his features, and he stopped walking. He put me down and sat on the edge of the roof, holding his arms out. The small gesture brought a small smile to my lips, and I‌ obliged. I rested my head on his chest and breathed in the cool night air as he lightly stroked my hair.

"I'm sorry about everything," he murmured.

"What's there to be sorry about?" I asked. "None of this is your fault."

He exhaled slowly. I felt his chest fall against me and felt safer in his arms. "I‌ just wish I could do more."

I brought my head up and kissed him. "But you're doing everything for me. You're giving me a home, you're giving me comfort, you're coming with me when I needed to go out. You have no idea how much you're doing."

"Aw, Y/N." Leo pulled me close and tightly hugged me. "I care about you so much.‌ You don't even know how much, that's how crazy I am about you."

When he said that, I wanted to lighten the mood a little. I let my fingers graze his arm, going up to his neck. "Can you show me?"

I heard his breath hitch when I‌ finally reached his face with a featherlight touch. "Angel, don't do that."

"What?" I shifted so I was sitting upright and slowly leaned towards him, letting my fingers travel down to his leg and finally resting on his knee pad. "Is this...distracting?"

His eyes started to darken. "Y/N," he warned. I could hear the rugged breathing he was trying to control. The hand that was around my waist tightened.

When I moved my hand around the knee pad and under his knee, he jolted up and started laughing. "Stop!"

Oh, he's ticklish there!

I‌ quickly started tickling him as hard as I could behind his knee, and he fell back from uncontrollable laughter. "Y/N! No! Stahp! Ah!"

A giggle escaped my throat, and I used my other hand to tickle behind his other knee. The added sensation turned the next laugh into a snort, and I couldn't hold my own laughter anymore. We were like kids in the back of the class in on a secret joke.

"Mercy! Mercy!" He grabbed my wrists and tore them from his knees, sitting up and keeping them an arm's length away. "Jeez! You can't-you can't do that!"

"Do what, Captain?"

His eyes narrowed, and a sly grin spread across his lips. "You're ticklish too, aren't you?"

No...? "Wait!"

I jumped up and started running across the rooftop, letting out a small scream. He chuckled and rushed after me, tackling me in a bear hug and tickling me everywhere. I gave in to him and couldn't stop the laughter. "Leo! Leo, no! No!"

The sound of his T-phone ringing thankfully made him stop, and he released me to answer it. "What?" he asked, annoyed.

I couldn't hear the other line. He sighed. "Okay, fine, fine, we'll be there in a sec." When he hung up and put his phone away, he took my hand. "There's a new invention, so-"
