i see you
whirling in colorful daydreams

you see me
quivering in ashen night terrors

we meet in the middle sometimes
neither in hell, nor in heaven

we are feral beings of purgatory
this earth is our horizon

you were blinded by the bright hues
i was worn down by all that was gray and gloomed

in that moment, we found each other
not as two entities but mere light that burns and strikes all that is glass

i reflect your future

you reflect my past

somewhere in the world
that is divided in black and white

the scrambled hue of our collided souls shines and seeps from the cracks of broken hopes

they call it a hundred names
i do not care
neither should you

all that matters is
you are my mirror from ages ago

and i am yours
from a light years away

we were the same
but our universes were different

and yet here we are smiling at the same shadow that belongs to a time when we touched the same sky and in a way touched each other

it was as close as we could've come
and we know at last

this is our paradise
