"M..m..mum". I mumbled "w..w..what are you doing here".

" where have you been?" She asked with a strange smile.

"Harley's". I said while trying to avoid eye contact.

" well that's funny, Harley said you spent the night when I called her. But her dad had something different to say". She said while getting off the bed and walking towards me.

"So Carla I'll ask you one more time, where have you been?" She asked again firmly, with a  tone that was foreign to me.

"Well mum. I.um.you see". I stuttered hopelessly.

"I know. You were with that boy. I specifically told you to stay away from him". She yelled at me.

" mum he's not as bad as you think. He's really nice and..."

"And what. Don't tell me you're".

" mum we're together and I really like him. You've been telling me to get out more and fina....". I was cut short by my mum.

" You're gonna get me killed someday ".she said while palming her forehead." Look I said get out more but not with him".

"Why mum?,what personal grievances do you have with him".

"That's none of your concern. And for disobeying me you're grounded".

"What!" I said out of annoyance.

"You're grounded indefinitely with no phone for two weeks. And also from now on, I'll drop you off and pick you up from school".

"Mum are you serious?" I said in utter disbelief.

"I'll let you off when your little crush is over".

"mum its not just a crush. You can't do this to me". I said while holding back a truck load of tears.

" well you'll forget about it sooner or later. Its for the best ". She said and collected my phone right out of my hand and walked out.

I was at a lost for words, no phone and I'm grounded. Most importantly no Jayden or is it Theo.

.....

I was just laying there thinking about everything.

Firstly, I keep getting strange flashes. I've always had those but these are new.

I don't know if it's just my imagination but I think Jayden killed someone.

Secondly, some strange girl shows up out of thin air and she and Jayden are getting all cozy and shit.

She looks hot and definitely not sixteen. Come to think of it neither does Jayden. He seems right about the same age as her.

I've always thought about it but I just thought he was just really hot and that's just it.

And finally,my mum is definitely hiding something and its connected to Jayden.

Its all connected to Jayden. I don't know if my mum's right or not but I'm gonna get to the bottom of this.

......

"Girl, all this is messed up and you say he's name's Theo. Can he get any hotter". I rolled my eyes at Harley's fangirling.

I haven't talked to or seen Jayden all weekend. And he didn't even bother to check up on me.

Probably spending time with that girl.

Come to think of it where is Jayden. I haven't seen him all day and we have most of our classes together.

Last time I saw him was when he pulled out this morning on he's bike and the girl was clinging unto him like he was her lost puppy.

Who know where they went maybe he took her to

" hello! Earth to miss Carla. Where did you go off to just now". Harley asked

"Well I went to mars to meet your relatives". I said sarcastically.

" well I hope you made a good impression, cause when we get married they're gonna be your in-laws". Harley said which made me laugh.

"You wish, I prefer earthlings".

" oh really". She said while letting out a laugh.

Just then the bell cut our laughter short. Lunch was over and it was back to class.

....

Late that night I kept staring at Jayden's window to see if the light would come on.

It never did....
