Trigger warning ( I guess?? )
This is very, very bitter and kinda harsh and nothing like the previous poems so if you only wanted to read pretty things, DO NOT PROCEED. Just skip this chapter and I will post something more lighthearted next week. However if you like anger and bitterness, by all means go ahead.
(I made this poem sound very triggering - it's not all that bad it's just very cross at the world I guess? oh well)
Prelude to the Housefly:
For those that are detested,
Beaten, spat upon,
Rats are the ultimate role model
Dirty and forgotten,
Scrabbling in the filth of great civilisations
Rats cower in the gutters,
And houseflies clutter the corners of rooms
God flinches from their presence
Scornful of their pathetic lives
But the scrabblers, the houseflies,
Will eat away
Your fortresses and your castles
And leave you squirming naked in the mud
Stripped of dignity they never had.
Well, something a little different. I hope you enjoyed - but if not I will be posting a nicer poem next week!
