Together

Broken world

Shattered people

We need a net of dulcet tones

To bring them together

A silver stream

A honey pool of dappled shade

Where music dances

Amidst the gush of falling water

Snaking through the air

Glorying in outdoor freedom,

The piping of a flute

And the honey song of a fiddle

In a world of distance,

Two instruments breath as one

One catching where the other stumbles,

You shall not sing alone.

a/n: I hope you enjoyedx

me and my friend possibly met up a week ago to play instruments together (socially distantly of course) and it was incredibly lovely to see another human face again, so poetry had to be written ;)

Question: do you play a musical instrument?

(I play the flute and cello)
