To The Void [kth X reader]

"When you find it, the first thing is to inform the others, don't enter it." 

This was the last instruction Jungkook gave us before splitting into different ways according to the sub units.

Jin and Namjoon went towards the heart of the city, the place with more people. Yoongi and Hoseok went towards the marketplace, Jimin and Jungkook went towards outer east part of the city and me and Taehyung went to the outer west part.

"You know how to ride a bike, I am impressed." Taehyung said as we continued to travel through the empty road.

"Well, magic helps." I shrug, obviously not knowing how to ride a bike, just getting help from good ol' magic.

"Where do you think checkpoints are, Jungkook?" I ask him through the comms.

"It would typically be a shop where we can have some upgrades, like at a mechanic or some clothing store. You get the idea?" 

"Yeah, we'll see." I reply and turn to Tae. "Your call, where to first?"

He stopped his bike, making me stop mine a bit later. "I analysed the area earlier, it doesn't have many settlements or shops, so won't take us long to skim it. I guess we should just ask the first place that comes our way for hints."

"As you say." we started our engine once again and set off.

A small motel like building started to come into view. "First stop?" I ask him.

"Yep." he popped the 'p' and increased the speed.

"We found it! We found the first point!" Hoseok yelled into out earpieces.

Flinching away, both of us took out the comms, not letting Hoseok damage our ear drums.

"Jesus Christ Hobi! Don't yell!" Namjoon yelled as well.

HyPoCrItE.

"We'll be there." Tae said and got off the bike.

Looking at their location on the map, we get ready to teleport.

"Come on! Come fas----WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" Hobi started screaming. We could also hear Yoongi muttering profanities in the earpiece.

Quickly teleporting to their location, I come face to face with Hobi and Yoongi's angry faces. But as soon as they see me, their faces become pale. I am suddenly hit sideways with a huge force and thrown in the nearby alleyway with a weight pressing down on me. All I could see was the place I teleported to was now burning with fire.

"Get up!" Jungkook whisper yells, removing himself from upon me and pulling me up by my arms.

A loud roaring sound is heard from behind him. He slams me in the cavity of the wall and scampers inside with me.

"What is happening?" I ask, out of breath. His body knocked all the air out of my lungs and now this confined space was of no help.

"Apparently, the checkpoints have a little welcoming surprise for us." His voice was angry and laced with sarcasm. His jaw was clenched, dimple prominent on his cheek and his lips curled in a sneer. 

He peeked outside and slowly crept out of the shadow, grabbing my hand and pulling me with him. 

"Okay, so far, we know it has big claws, an even bigger tusk and it spits fire." he informs me.

"What kind of creature is it?"

"It's a mutant or mutt, prettier and those flying ass rhino lizards though." he shrugged.
