This time when Jimin disappeared, she didn't cry, she didn't feel sad. Yes, a tear did fall down her eyes, but that was it. Gantis is here and she'll kill that son of a bitch no matter what. Before she mounted Cannabis, the trees around her rustled with the wind that started to blow, clouds misting over the ground. The atmosphere changed to crisp cold and girding the whole expanse with the slight howl of the gale, the music of death, the swan-song.
Tightening her pony, she moved her hands delicately and letting the magic bewitch the forest. From the vines to the barks, the leaves and stones, and the water in the lake. They would need all the help they could get. And what better help than mother nature herself.
Once the tinkles and chimes were silenced and the howling had successfully ruined any calm that she experienced, she bestrode the Pegasus and it sprung into the air.
"Let's sneak up on the big bad wolf's army, hm? Gotta keep a count." She patted Cannabis who gave a small nicker in response.
They soared in the clouds, the chill breeze not making Y/n uncomfortable as much as the dread of whats to come did. Since she wasn't much deep in the forest, it took her seconds to fly above the army, and not only did she feel a tinniest bit of dread but also longing of the win they were here for. Gantis's army had a lot of people and they were carrying guns, and her team had far more powerful people. Not to forget magic and enchanted creatures. But guns and spears . . . It's like bringing a knife to a gun fight.
She tapped her comm, bringing it to life. "Anyone copies?"
A string of 'here' poured in, letting her know they have reached the place.
"Welcome back Jin, are we in position?" She smiled.
"Yes we are, seems like Gantis is waiting for you to start." He said monotonously. "Where are you?"
"In the clouds, I'll be there." Cannabis turned on his master's instructions and flew towards the ground.
People from both the sides looked up at the new addition to the soon-to-be war. The Pegasus touched the ground and galloped it's way to the boys who stood in front of the clan. She looked over at Gantis, who had a different costume, customised for wars like such. His eyes stayed sharp and focused.
Getting off it and walking to the team and Kara she whispered.
"How do we approach this . . . I mean, it's not like we have ever been to a war before."
"We have, so we know how to do what needs to be done. About you all . . . " Kara gave a once over to everyone. "I hope you know what you are doing. It can be dangerous."
"Don't worry, we have it planned." Jungkook said, looking at others for approval to which they nodded immediately.
"I'll distract him from the sky." Y/n asserted.
"Be safe, he isn't one to play nice." Kara nodded at them.
The end was so near.
"Hey guys . . . " Hoseok caught the team's attention. He grabbed Yoongi and Jungkook with both their hands and tugged them towards himself. The others got the cue and went in for a group hug.
"No matter what happens today, we have to end things at Mortem." Namjoon said quietly.
"No matter who dies, today we fight for Earth, for avenging Jimin, for them to think that we could do nothing." Jungkook declared.
Taehyung put his hand in the middle while everyone grasped it, Y/n a bit more firmly. "One for all."
"And all for one." They completed.
