"I hate this place but it is so beautiful!" she squealed on seeing where Taehyung has brought them. They were standing under a tree on the highest hill in the surrounding. Below them, there was a beautiful valley with crops grown in patches and a few settlements. Then in the front, they could make out a town like area, the houses visible from over the dam that protected it along the border.

"It is pretty, isn't it?" he sighed, smiling dreamily at Y/n and then at the scenery

"It is pretty, isn't it?" he sighed, smiling dreamily at Y/n and then at the scenery. "Oh and by the way, there is a pond just downhill, so if you wanna freshen up or something, you can use it." he gushed.

"Sure! Let's go."

"Y-you want me to come too?" he started blushing furiously as he looked everywhere but her. Y/n giggled at his flustered state before grabbing his hand and leading him towards the water.

"You have to clean up too, and someone should be a look out." she explained.

"I-I'll turn around till y-you are under the water." he hastily faced the other way.

Even though he said he won't look, she stripped her clothes while keeping an eye on him. Not that she didn't trust him, it's just......call it a factory setting but she would always want to be sure from her side.

Looking down at her naked body, she discovered all the wounds that bled and pained her deep down to her bones. But the one on the right side of her waist was deeper than the rest, slashed vertically. She kept staring at it, running her cold fingers soothingly around the gash, calming the burning sensation.

Her first wound in this game.

No.

Her first battle scar.

"Do you have any injuries that I need to cure?" his voice broke her reverie. As on cue, she covered her chest and gasped, thinking he might have seen her. Her body relaxed once she was sure that he didn't, and lowered her head, examining the wound. As much it pained, it was bearable. And who knows how much more serious harm they would face. Not wanting to waste his chances of special ability magic, she told him she is fine and stepped into the pond, the cuts stinging on coming in contact with the water but was shortly alleviating them.
