Kenny frowned at my question, "What?"
"I need the truth."
"No! I can't believe you'd ask me that after all I've done to protect you."
"Protect me from what?" I asked before he looked away. My eyes widened, "Wait, you think I did this?"
"I wouldn't be mad at you if you did."
"Ken! I'd never- I lied for you!"
"Well this is awkward." He chuckled high as hell. I rolled my eyes walking off before he grabbed my hand, "Tone, wait. I'm sorry. I know you'd never do anything like that but you've been so paranoid lately."
"Because I thought you snapped. I felt responsible so I needed to do what I had to do to protect you."
"Ride or die, huh? That's sexy." He said pulling me into him.
"Ken I'm being serious. I was legit scared for you."
"I'm sorry. I understand why, but I felt the same way about you. That's why I said I'd always protect you."
"You're an idiot." I told him before cracking a smile, "But I love you."
I kissed him before he pulled away.
"Wait, so if I didn't do it and you didn't. Who did?" He asked.
I thought for a second, "Your mom, maybe Chris, or..." I trailed off remembering something. Could it be?
"Who?" Ken asked anxiously.
"The night I told you everything, Dawn said that men like Rob don't deserve to live."
He frowned in deep thought, "She was very angry after finding out he did the same thing to you."
"She's been walking around here as if nothing is happening."
"She's a lawyer so she knows how to make herself look less guilty." He said concluding our observations.
"Shit! How did we miss that?"
"I don't know, but I'm not letting her go to prison either." He said sternly.

We were leaving the garden when we ran into two figures.
"AAH!" We all yelled at the same time.
"What the hell are you two doing?!" Toni asked Laz and Caresha while holding her chest.
"No, the question is what are YOU two doing?" Laz replied swinging a flashlight in our faces.
"Mhmm. Something fishy is going on." Caresha said.
"Yeah and I don't like it." Laz said.
"Get that damn flashlight out of my face before I shove it up your ass!" Toni snapped making him take a step back.
I pulled her close to me, "She's pregnant." I told them apologetically.
