ToniI chuckled at our baby boy's babbling as I carried him downstairs. He's 3 months old and has so much personality. I pecked his little cheek ready to hand him off.
"Okay, I have to go to work. Cameron needs a diaper change." I told Chance and Kaila.
"Studying." Chance said conveniently opening his textbook.
I shook my head, "Kaila?"
"You gotta be kidding me." She groaned as I held Cam out for her.
"I'll take you shopping."
She scooped him up, "Come on baby bro."
"Bye guys. Love you."
"Love you too." They said in unison as I walked out of the door.

"Mr. Edmonds, this book is amazing. So many twists and turns I was hooked." One of my readers said as I autographed her copy of my new book.
I chuckled, "Thank you."
"How did you get the inspiration?"
"I lost someone very close to me and I channeled that energy into creating and giving life to something new for you all to enjoy." I said to her and the other fans waiting in line. Writing as been my therapy all my life.
"Speaking of, guess who made the bestseller's list again?" My publicist announced coming in with a cake.
Applause rang out around the library we rented out for my book signing.
"Thanks." I said.
"Sell 20 more and you'll be #1 again."
"I'll buy 10 for my book club." The woman I signed the book for said.
Another one raised her hand, "Me too."
"So will I!" Someone else yelled out.
I turned to my publicist, "I guess you should add something to that cake."

"I think this can be our last session. I'm happier than I've ever been. Chance is doing well in law school, even got himself a girlfriend. Kaila's getting back to herself. The baby is growing up fast. Ken and I are back on track. Everything is the way it should be." Toni said to Josh as she sat in his office.
He smiled, "I'm glad to hear that."
She stood to her feet, "I have to go. I'll see you around."
"Definitely."

"I'm back!" Toni announced walking into the house.
