Bonus Chapter

Guys this is the second chapter of the double update...some of y'all are reading backwards. Awkward that I actually have to explain that😬

Kenny found Kaila in the lounge area crying her eyes out. It was time to get off the boat so they could go home. He sighed, she'd been like this since the arrests. He sat next to her pulling her close to him.

"Kaila, what's wrong?" He asked.

•••
It was almost 3am when Kaila got out of bed. She was having a hard time sleeping trying to figure out why her father attacked her grandpa.

Walking downstairs she saw the light on in Rob's office. Stepping in she saw him sitting at his desk drinking.

"Grandpa, what are you doing up still?" She asked pulling him out of his thoughts.

He sat up, "Just thinking, you?" He asked taking his foot off the desk.

"I couldn't sleep."

"Come in."

Walking further inside, she noticed the bruises in his face and the cut on his lip.

"That looks bad." She said walking over to get a closer look.

He half chuckled, "It hurts like hell."

"I can't believe dad did that to you."

"I think he had a little too much to drink. I'm okay." He assured her making her nod. She picked up a tiny statue and examined it as Rob's inner demon appeared.

"You are just as pretty as your mother." He said she gave him a small smile before letting the statue capture her attention again.

Her eyes widened when she felt a hand on the back of her thigh just below her bottom.

She quickly turned around, "Hey, what are you doing?"

He picked her up, "Shh, it's ok-"

"No it's not, stop! You're drunk!" She said pushing at his arms. He sat her in the desk.

"Stop moving." He groaned trying to grab her hands.

"Get off!"

"Calm down-"

He was cut off as she pushed him again freeing her hands. She felt around and grabbed a letter opener nearby.

"I said stop!" She said sticking it in his neck and pulling it out. His eyes widened as he grabbed his neck. The blood leaked through his fingers as he stumbled back and fell to the floor.

Her eyes watered, "Grandpa?"
Getting no answer, she dropped the letter opener and dashed upstairs to get help. She went into her father's old room.

"Chance!" She said pushing his arm.

"Hmm?" He mumbled out still asleep.
