Chapter 7

Alex Chu glared at the Korean idol. He knew that if people saw the contents of that flash drive, his image would be ruined. He looked at Jihyun with a fake smile plastered on his face "Everyone already knows what happened, and I highly doubt you have a record of it" he sneered. Jihyun smirked and walked to the front of the lecture theatre, F4 following behind her. Jihyun spoke to the professor and asked if she was allowed to use the projector and the computer. The professor gave Jihyun permission and the green-eyed Korean idol inserted the USB into the computer. Every single student in the lecture theatre was watching the screen as Jihyun played the CCTV footage from her apartment "The CCTV footage is automatically saved to my laptop, which I then back up onto this USB" After the students saw the video, Jihyun looked to Alex again "there is more to this little video than the fight everyone just saw" Jihyun noticed that Alex was looking slightly worried "I went over the new footage this morning while I was waiting for Xi. You went back to my apartment last night in hopes I was still there" F4 looked at Jihyun. They didn't know about that part. Ximen put his arm around Jihyun's waist "You didn't mention this before when we were outside" he spoke softly to her. Jihyun looked to Ximen "I didn't think I would need to use the footage and I only saw it this morning while you were getting ready. I didn't see the whole video, only the part where he was at my door" she looked to the computer and pressed play. Everyone was astounded at what they saw next... 

On the screen was Alex Chu breaking into Jihyun's apartment and ransacking it. Even Jihyun was surprised at what she was seeing "W-why would you destroy my apartment?" she asked him "What were you looking for?" Alex glared at the Korean idol. He could easily lie about what he was doing there but he knew that they wouldn't believe him. He ran his hand through his blue hair "I was looking for the lyrics and music you came up with for your next album" he smirked "when I couldn't find them, I trashed your place" Everyone, except Jihyun and Lei, looked at Alex in disbelief. Lei stepped forwards and actually glared at Alex "What makes you think Jihyun would keep her song lyrics and music samples in her apartment when she isn't there?" he asked the male idol. Alex clenched his fist and was went to strike Lei but Jihyun got in the way, Alex's punch hitting her shoulder. Jihyun didn't cry out in pain like someone would when being struck that hard, but it was easy to see that she was indeed hurt. Ximen pulled Jihyun to him "Ji-Ji are you alright?" he asked, his voice full of worry. Jihyun nodded and turned back to Alex "I can't let you hurt my friends. I don't care if you try to hurt me but leave them alone" all the other students were murmuring to each other and texting on their phones. Alex looked around the room "stop texting!" he shouted. Jihyun smiled softly which sort of scared Alex when he looked at her again "You gave false information to the police, have committed B&E*, and committed assault numerous times without reason" her green eyes narrowed "Alex I highly doubt you will be an Idol for much longer"

Within thirty minutes of Jihyun revealing the video to the business class, the police showed up at the university. Jihyun, Shancai and the members of F4 were all standing outside the university with the entire university. There was about six different camera crews there from different news stations as well as Alex's agent and the agency's leading producer. Jihyun was talking to the senior officer and handing over the USB drive. F4 was talking to one of the officers and giving their statements, all the while Alex was going absolutely nuts at his agent for letting him provide a false statement to the police. Jihyun looked to Alex and he began to approach her. The agency's leading producer also approached Jihyun and both him and Alex got to her at the same time. The producer smiled gently towards Jihyun but then glared at Alex "our CEO is not happy about this situation" he spoke firmly "Mr Chu, I have been instructed to terminate your contract with us and fire your agent from our company" Alex stared at the producer in disbelief "Its a misunderstanding" he pleaded "please don't fire us" The producer held up his hand, signalling Alex to be quiet. He then turned to Jihyun "Miss Lee, I am very sorry you have had to experience this when you are on your break. Please do not terminate your contract with us" Jihyun smiled softly and placed her hand on the producer's shoulder "Don't worry. I don't plan on terminating my contract anytime soon" the producer sighed in relief and looked to the police officers who were approaching them. The several camera crews were filming them now. The senior police officer stood right in front of Alex "Alexander Chu, you are under arrest for providing a false testimony to the police, breaking and entering and physical assault on multiple occasions" he put the cuffs on Alex, who began trying to resist. F4 all came to stand with Jihyun as they watched her ex-boyfriend get dragged away. Ximen took Jihyun's hand in his "He knows this isn't one of his shitty dramas right?" he asked. Jihyun laughed at Ximen's comment "Knowing Alex, he'll being the cell for five minutes before saying that they can stop rolling the cameras" All six of them laughed and were about to head back inside when one of the camera crews spotted Jihyun and called out to her.

Jihyun turned to the person who had called out to her only have a camera shoved into her face and someone asking her a billion questions. Ximen and Lei both got between the camera and Jihyun before getting her inside the university. The six of them went to F4 hang out room and Meizuo immediately checked Alex's fan page. He laughed when he saw the page "Jihyun, your ex is losing fans by the hundreds" Everyone looked at Meizuo and went and looked at his computer. Jihyun laughed slightly "Someone actually caught him hitting me on video, but instead of bashing him they praised me for protecting my friends" Shancai tapped Jihyun's shoulder. The Korean idol looked to her female friend "You should check your page as well" Jihyun shrugged then took out her phone and checked her fan page. Her eyes widened and she almost dropped her phone "My fan count as almost doubled since that video was posted online" Ximen looked at Jihyun's phone over her shoulder. He looked to Meizuo's laptop "Alex's fans have transferred themselves to you it seems" he then went and sat in his usual chair. Jihyun put her phone away "I didn't do this to get his fans. I did this so he would leave me alone" she stood behind Ximen and rested her hands on his shoulders. The other came a sat down with them. Si wrapped his arms around Shancai "so what are you going to do now?" he asked Jihyun "there really isn't any need for you to have a fake boyfriend anymore when your ex is now going to prison" Jihyun took her hands off of Ximen's shoulders "I didn't think of that" Ximen stood up "we need to keep up this fake relationship. it would seem suspicious if we were to 'break up' the moment Alex was out of the picture" the others nodded. Jihyun however didn't seem to happy with idea of "breaking up" with Ximen and Lei could easily see this written all over Jihyun's face.

The rest of the day went by quite quickly and before they knew , the six friends found themselves going to their homes. Ximen and Jihyun arrived back at Ximen's place. Jihyun got out of the car and slowly walked towards the front door. Ximen had noticed that Jihyun had been a bit out of it since Alex's arrest. He wondered if she was feeling guilty but he knew that would be absurd. He got out of the car and caught up to Jihyun "you okay?" he asked her. Jihyun looked at him and nodded "Yeah. Just a little tired" she smiled softly "I think I might turn in for the night" they got inside and Jihyun went to her room. Ximen looked slightly worried but he didn't want to pry and annoy her so he left it at that and went to his study.
