A few days went passed and it was now the night before the University concert. It was nearly 10 pm and Jihyun was just returning home from rehearsals. Ximen heard the door open and he went to meet her in the hall "You've still been rehearsing very hard despite not being allowed to dance" he smiled softly. Ximen admired Jihyun's dedication to what she loved and her cooperation with her doctor's orders on not dancing till her shoulder was better. Jihyun smiled a little "I was going over the lyrics and music and I guess I lost track of time" she laughed slightly. She took off her jacket and put in on the coat rack. She walked over to Ximen "You didn't have to wait up for me you know" she smiles softly at him. Ximen wrapped her arms around her gently and hugged her. Jihyun blushes as Ximen hugged her and she slid her arms around his waist "What's gotten into you Xi-xi?" since Jihyun accident at the university, Ximen had been staying with Jihyun at all times except for when she had music with Lei. They even managed to get Lei to agree to play the piano for Jihyun's performance. Jihyun looked up at Ximen "What's on your mind Xi-xi?" she asked him softly. Ximen gently pushes Jihyun against the wall behind her "I'm worried you are overworking yourself still" he spoke softly "I know you aren't dancing but you are still not taking it easy" Jihyun could see the concern written all over Ximen's face and it made her smile a little. The Korean Idol leaned up and kissed Ximen on the cheek which stunned him slightly. Jihyun smiled softly "I haven't really thanked you for taking care of me" she couldn't help but a laugh a little at Ximen's stunned expression.
Ximen looked at Jihyun, his face slowly turning red, stunned from her actions just now. His face heated up even more when he saw the Korean Idol's smile. He was at a loss for words, especially since they had never really done any type of kissing since they started the whole fake dating thing. "Ji, did you just kiss my cheek?" Ximen was still slightly confused as to why. Jihyun tried not to giggle "I did Xi-xi" she looked at the young man in front of her "I wanted to try it" she felt her face heating up slightly "though I completely understand if I have overstepped any boundaries..." she was cut off by Ximen cupping her face and pressing his lips to hers. Jihyun was caught off-guard at first but within seconds she was returning the kiss. Her mind spiralled all over the place as she felt Ximen wrap his arms around her again. A few minutes went by before the two separated. Both were blushing a deep red and neither of them could find the words to speak. They just stared into each other's eyes until Ximen's phone starting ringing. He let go of Jihyun and answered his phone. Less than 2 minutes later he hung up and turned back to the Korean Idol "The guys are on their way over" he leaned in a pecked Jihyun's lips again "After they have left, we will need to talk about this" All Jihyun could do was nod in response. Her eyes widened slightly and she looked to Ximen "D-does this mean you like me?" her voice was quiet but he could still hear her. Ximen smiled softly "I wouldn't have kept this up if I didn't like you Ji-Ji" he heard the rest of F4 walk through the front door "We can talk about this later. Right now you are as red as Shancai when Si pisses her off. Head upstairs and get some rest" Jihyun nodded and made her way upstairs to her room.
Jihyun sat in her room for what seemed like hours but was really only 20 minutes. The kiss she had shared with Ximen kept replaying in her head and it was driving her crazy. Her heart was still pounding from how close he was holding her and she could still feel the warmth of his body against hers. Jihyun flopped down onto her bed and buried her head in the pillows. There was no way she was going to be able to sleep. Then she sat up and reach for her notebook and pen. She started writing ferociously. Writing down lyrics and scribbling them out and rewriting them. Before she knew it, it was almost midnight and Ximen was knocking on her door. By then Jihyun had her guitar with her and was playing the song she had just completed. Ximen opened the door to Jihyun's room and walked in, after seeing her sitting on the end of her bed with her guitar. He thought she might have been asleep by now but was glad to see she wasn't. Ximen leaned against the wall and listened to Jihyun play her new song.

Ximen's eyes widened as he heard the emotion in Jihyun's voice as she sang. He had heard her practising before but not like this. He had also never had the chance to hear how she wrote her songs.

Ximen made his way further into the room, making sure he didn't disturb Jihyun. He sat in a chair nearby and continues to listen to her play

Ximen remained silent until Jihyun finished playing. After Jihyun had stopped singing Ximen started clapping, capturing Jihyun's attention "Xi-xi. How long have you be there?" she put her guitar down. Ximen stood up and walked over to her "From the beginning of the song" he smiled "It was beautiful" Jihyun blushed "It was just a draft version. I'll end up rewriting some parts" Ximen shook his head "It is perfect." the Korean Idol smiled softly and sat further back on her bed as Ximen sat on the other side. Jihyun held a pillow on front of her "I'm guessing you came here to talk about what we did earlier" she bit her lower lip. Ximen nodded "The guys and even Shancai have picked up on what they call romantic tension between us" he laughed nervously "When I kissed you, I was originally doing it to see if there was" He looked at Jihyun, who was wide-eyed "I didn't think you would return the kiss" Jihyun smiled softly and placed her hand on his. Ximen looked at their hands "It's been months since we started this fake relationship" Jihyun spoke softly "When did it become real to us?" Ximen looked back at the Korean Idol the moment she asked that question. Ximen didn't know how to respond to Jihyun's question. Neither of them could really figure out when or where over the last few months they started to actually fall for each other. They just seemed fall without actually meaning to. Ximen looked into Jihyun's eyes "It doesn't matter when it became real to us" he leaned towards her "What matters is that it is real and we have the same emotions towards each other" Jihyun noticed that Ximen was leaning closer and her heart started to race and it wasn't long before their lips met again.
Things started getting a bit heated between Jihyun and Ximen. The green-eyed Korean was now laying underneath the F4 member. They had stopped making-out and were now just staring at each other. Both wanted to go further but were unsure if they were moving too fast or not, that was until Jihyun spoke "We just officially starting dating. Maybe we should take it a bit slow" her voice was soft. Ximen smiled softly and nodded before laying down next to Jihyun and wrapping his arms around her. The Korean Idol cuddled up to Ximen and kissed his nose before his turn off the main lights and the two of them drifted off to sleep.
