You're My Love Song - Ximen x OC(TEMPORARY PAUSE)

Chapter 11

Jihyun walked back into the practice room, unaware of the few people who were following her. She didn't pay attention to the door closing behind her as she walked over to the stereo. She was just about to press play when she was spun around by her followers. Jihyun was now face-to-face with the same girls who had cornered her earlier, this time though there were a couple more girls and a couple of guys, possibly boyfriends of some of the girls, with them. Jihyun had a feeling she was in trouble so she sneakily took out her phone and speed dialled Ximen. Unfortunately, one of the girls noticed this and took Jihyun's phone from her. The Korean idol backed up a bit "can I help you with something ladies?" she asked nicely. The girls backed Jihyun up against the wall "We have some unfinished business to take care of" a girl who seemed to be the leader of the little group. Jihyun knew she was in trouble and now she couldn't even call for help. Even her self defence training wouldn't be enough against this group.

Ximen, Lei, and Si were running through the halls of the university. They had been heading to the room they usually hung out in when Ximen received a call from Jihyun. Only when he answered, it wasn't Jihyun talking but Ximen did recognise the voice of one of the girls who had tried ganging up on the Korean idol before. He sent Meizuo and Shancai to get the security while he, Lei, and Si went to go help her. This was the first time Lei and Si were finding it hard to keep up with Ximen. Ximen had a look of fury in his eyes as he ran towards the practice room Jihyun was using. As the three of them got closer, they could hear the sound of girls and guys laughing. The three of them got to the practice room, but they couldn't open the door. Lei looked through the window and saw that a piano was blocking the door "They put the piano in front of the door" just as Lei finished speaking, all three of them heard a loud crash come from the room. Lei looked through the window and saw Jihyun on the floor against some of the stacked chairs and music stands. Lei then began trying to help Ximen and Si open the door again and they managed to push the door open far enough for them to get into the room. 

Just as all three of them had entered the room, Jihyun stood up. She was holding her left shoulder and there was blood seeping from a relatively large cut on her right arm from one of the music stands. Ximen, Lei and Si all took a step towards Jihyun but she shook her head, telling them to stop. The Korean idol then looked to the group who had attacked her "I'm not going to let them fight my battles" she stood up straight, still holding her arm "But I am also not going to fight you" The leading girl of the group scoffed and a few other members laughed "You wouldn't win against all of us anyway" the leader of the group laughed. Despite the amount of pain Jihyun was in, she couldn't help but smile "It's got nothing to do with whether or not I can win" she looked the leader dead in the eyes "I know for a fact that the guys are not students here and neither are two of the girls" the leader shrugged and responded with a "so what?" Jihyun looked to the three members of F4 who then moved the piano out of the way and opened the door wider. Jihyun then glared at the group "In about two minutes campus security is going to walk through that door. All of you will be asked for your University ID and then most likely escorted off campus" one of the girls were about to make a move against Jihyun until she spoke again "And your next move will depend on if you get arrested and have charges pressed against you for assault" One of the guys stepped forward and looked defensive "Why would we have charges pressed against us?" Ximen stepped forward a spoke this time "As you can see, Jihyun cannot move her shoulder and she has a gash on her arm from when you threw her into the chairs and stands" it was then that the group noticed Jihyun's injuries and campus security entering the room with Meizuo and Shancai.

As the campus security was talking to the group after they had spoken to Jihyun and the others, Jihyun was taken to the hospital by Ximen and Lei while the others stayed at the university. During the drive to the hospital, Jihyun didn't speak a word to Ximen or Lei. She kept staring out of the window hoping that she wouldn't start crying. Ximen looked at Lei in the reflection of the rearview mirror. Lei nodded when he saw Ximen looking at him and he leaned forward slightly "Jihyun may I see your arm?"he asked. Without a word, Jihyun showed Lei the cut on her arm. Ximen saw it out of the corner of his eye and absentmindedly sped up a bit. Lei took a handkercheif out of his pocket and pressed it on the cut "We should have done this sooner but we didn't know if you were going to fight back against them or not" he spoke softly. Jihyun looked at Lei. He could see her eyes were fairly moist from her fighting back tears. He knew she was on the verge of crying but didn't want him or Ximen to see her cry. Jihyun didn't know that Lei had once seen her cry after her father's memorial service. He knew that Jihyun thought that she was showing a weakness of someone saw her cry so she always secluded herself from others when she was sad. 

It wasn't much longer before the three of them had arrived at the hospital. Ximen and Lei walked Jihyun to the front desk where the nurse called for a doctor straight away after seeing the large cut on the Korean's arm. A female doctor came out and immediately ran over to Jihyun "Ji-Ji!" she sounded very worried. Jihyun smiled weakly at the female "Yenay" her voice was quite soft. Yenay looked her friend over "This is the 16th time you have been here in the last year. Did you over work yourself again?" she asked Jihyun. This question made both Lei and Ximen look at Jihyun "this isn't the first time you have been here?" Ximen asked. Jihyun looked to Yenay "can we just get this over with please. You know I hate hospitals" Yenay nodded and led Jihyun to a private room so she could examin and treat her.

While they were waiting for Jihyun, Ximen and Lei were sitting in the waiting area. It had been about 10 minutes before Ximen spoke "Did you know she had been admitted here before?" Lei nodded "I knew she had been here a twice when she overworked herself but I didn't know she had been here everytime she had been in Shanghai. I didn't know she had been here 16 times in the last year" Ximen could hear the worry in Lei's voice which made him worry more. Another 15 minutes passed before Yenay came out to them "Ximen? Lei?" she called to them. They both stood up and walked over to her "Is Jihyun alright?" Ximen asked. Yenay nodded "She's fine. There's no major damage to her arm or shoulder. The cut wasn't very deep" the boy both sighed in relief but Yenay wasn't done "She mentioned a performance in a few days. She cannot do any dancing for at least a week. She can still perform but no dancing" the boys both nodded before Yenay walked off to tend to her other patients. A couple minutes later, Jihyun walked out. Her left arm was in a sling and her eyes were a bit red. Both guys could tell she had been crying but neither of them said anything. They tended to the paperwork for the hospital and Ximen drove Lei home. On the way back to his place, Ximen couldn't help but feel bad about the incident "I should have walked with you back to the practice room" he said softly "I'm sorry" Jihyun looked at him "Xi-xi you don't need to apologise. Neither of us could have known this was going to happen" she smiled softly "I'm just glad there was no major damage and that you did get to me" she rested her right hand on his leg. Ximen looked at her and smiled a little "I'm glad you are alright. When we get home you should rest" his voice was still fairly soft. Jihyun nodded and the rest of the car ride was silent.
