You're My Love Song - Ximen x OC(TEMPORARY PAUSE)

Chapter 10

Over the next couple of weeks, Shancai and F4 were rarely able to see Jihyun as she was constantly in the private music rooms or at a studio rehearsing for the university concert. Ximen was a bit lost without having Jihyun with him and the other could clearly see he wanted to see her. Lei was also a bit anxious to see Jihyun as he knew how much she would work herself when it would come to her rehearsals and he also knows that she would often forget to eat or she wouldn't take a break when she needed it.

There was now only 3 days left before the concert and Shancai came up with the idea of visiting Jihyun while she was rehearsing and giving her some encouragement. No one objected to the idea and they all went to the private music room where Jihyun was. Upon reaching the practice room that Jihyun was using, they heard shouting over the top of music and they knew that it wasn't Jihyun's voice. The five of them ran into the private music room to find a couple of the girls from the F4 fan club shouting at Jihyun and cornering her once again. They noticed that Jihyun looked a bit angry as the girls continued to shout at her. Ximen was about to interrupt them but Lei stopped him "If there is one thing Ji hates more than her ex, its people interrupting her mid-rehearsal" he said. The music had stopped and Jihyun walked past the girls to the stereo.

Once she walked past them, Jihyun walked over to the stereo. She hadn't noticed F4 or Shancai standing in the door at the back of the room and it was probably a good thing too. The girls followed her to the stereo and one of them grabbed her arm "You think that just because you are an idol that you can date one of the most popular guys here?" she snapped and yanked Jihyun's arm so she was facing them. Jihyun faced the girls but the look on her face made them step back a bit. Jihyun had a look of pure anger on her face and it was a scary sight. The Korean idol stepped towards the girls and they took a step back. Jihyun's green eyes were narrowed slightly and she crossed her arms across her chest "I don't think that just because I am an Idol that I can date one of the most popular guys here. That is what you think" Jihyun then noticed the others by the door and she smiled softly "Ximen and I are together because we share a mutual affection for one another. It has nothing to do with the statuses we hold" her smile then vanished. One of the girls stepped forward "We don't believe that" she snapped "You are only with him cause he has money and you are a washed-up pop idol" with saying that, the girl went to strike Jihyun but failed to do so as Jihyun grabbed the girl's wrist. She squeezed the girl's wrist making the girl cry in pain "I have been here for nearly 4 months" she growled "In that time I have had to deal with my no-good abusive ex trying to take me away from Ximen and now your stupid little fan club has been non-stop harassing me over the last month for my relationship with Ximen" her grip on the girl's wrist tightened. Shancai and F4 walked over to them but they didn't intervene. Well except for Lei who just put his hand on Jihyun's shoulder.

Jihyun looked to Lei as he had his hand on her shoulder "Lei please take your hand off me" her voice was cold "I don't want to make the mistake of hurting you when I put these girls in their place" Ximen looked a little concerned but he kept silent as he knew Lei would be better at handling this than himself. Lei sighed and moved to stand between Jihyun and the fan club girls "I know you don't like being disrupted when you are rehearsing" he looked her right in the eyes "but I also know you would hate yourself if you hurt another human being" Jihyun sighed and let go of the girl's wrist. She smiled softly at Lei "You're right" she looked to the girls "I acted unreasonably just now. I am sorry that I have hurt your wrist a bit, but I really do hate being interrupted mid-rehearsal" Jihyun straightened out her shirt "please leave me be so I can rehearse for the university concert" with that Si and Meizuo ushered the fan club girls out of the private music room.

Upon the girls leaving, Jihyun sat down in one of the chairs and sighed. She ran her hand through her hair and she looked fairly stressed and exhausted. Despite that though, she put on a smile for her friends. Ximen and Lei could see right through it "Ji have you been getting any sleep?" Lei asked softly. Jihyun leaned back in the chair "Sort of" she admitted "I've been going to rehearsals early and leaving late" she rubbed the back of her head "I know I should take a break but I feel like my performance isn't perfect" the others looked concerned. Shancai looked to the Korean star "have you at least been eating?"Jihyun bowed her head slightly and spoked "I may have missed a few meals but nothing serious" the others looked at each other with worry and then Lei spoke "Jihyun I know you have a tendency to miss more than a few meals when you are rehearsing for a performance. Not to mention your sleeping pattern gets thrown out of whack too" Jihyun looked away from her friends. She knew that she was in bad shape at the moment, but she felt as though she couldn't take any breaks. She stood up and smiled "I appreciate you guys coming to see me but I should really get back to rehearsing" she went back over to the mirrors and began practicing again. F4 and Shancai stood up and headed to the door. Ximen stopped and turned to Jihyun "Ji-Ji" the Korean girl turned to him "At least come have lunch with us. I feel like I haven't seen you in ages" he held out his hand to her, hoping she would join them. Jihyun thought for a moment then smiled. She took Ximen's hand "Okay" was all she said but the look in her eyes said a whole lot more than 'okay'. The six of them then went to the cafeteria.

The six friends arrived at the cafeteria only to find it in complete uproar. The F4 fan club was there spreading hateful rumors and lies about her. Everyone looked shocked and disgusted, except for Jihyun. This didn't seem to phase her at all. Ximen noticed that Jihyun wasn't reacting to it and it worried him a little. Was she used to being badmouthed by those who didn't know her or like her? The six of them made their way to F4's eating area and sat down. Shancai sat next to Si and Lei, Meizuo sat in his usual chair and Jihyun and Ximen sat next to one another. They watched the commotion and listened to the students murmur who had spotted Jihyun in the cafeteria.

Jihyun stayed in the cafeteria for about 45 minutes before she told the others that she was going back to rehearsing for the concert. Ximen tried to object but Lei stopped him as they could see the expression on the Korean girl's face. She had kept quiet the entire time she was there and now she couldn't stand to hear anymore comments. Jihyun quickly left the cafeteria and made her way back to the practice room, unaware that she was being followed.
