(Draco)

After the humiliating disaster in the Great Hall, which Draco couldn't bring himself to think about, he marched Raven into an empty hall to lecture her.
"You can't just do that! Especially not in front of Harry bloody Potter!"
Raven rolled her eyes and pouted.
"Aww Dray-Dray. I was just having fun...don't be such a buzzkill. Why do you care about Harry so much anyways?"
She asked mischievously, obviously hoping to get a rise out of Draco.

Draco went beet red.
"I don't care about him in the slightest! I just don't want to be made a fool of in his presence!" He barked, glaring at Raven.
Raven let out a puff of air, ruffling her black, side swept, bangs.
"Oh Dray-Dray... why do you want to look good to him?"
Draco frowned.
    "Pardon?"
Raven sniggered.
"I mean, you're going through all this work to present yourself as so cool, extra, and suave...don't think I haven't noticed. So why would you...unless..?" Raven trailed off, eyeing Draco with suspicion. Draco hissed.
"Leave it alone! I'm his rival, I want to appear worthy!" Raven chuckled, grabbing his hand.
    "Worthy of his affections...?"

Draco stumbled backwards, wrenching his hand out of her grip.
"No. Drop this conversation now, O' Neil!" Raven pouted, her lovely eyes filling with dainty tears.
"O' Neil? Do you not care for me, Dray-Dray?"
All this time she was looking sultry, but calculating. She was sizing him up. Draco felt his stomach drop into his shoes. She was on to him. If he denied her affections, she would run to Potter and tell him that he was fond of him... on the other hand, Raven was becoming unbearable!

Raven suddenly lit up.
"Oh I have a compromise, Dray-Dray. I'll leave this conversation alone, and promise not to pry into..." she wrinkled her nose delicately, "whatever's going on with you two. In exchange for my good deed, you need to prove your affection to me."

Draco sighed.
"And what, exactly, would you have me do?" Raven bit her lip and glanced sideways at him.
"You need to call me Ray-Ray every time you talk to me or about me, all week long. Ray-Ray and Dray-Dray. Isn't it perfect, Draco? We were MEANT to be."

Draco felt sick. The corridor was blending into a gray blob, thanks to the unshed tears of panic in his eyes. Leave it to Raven to come up with such a manipulative plan. Draco swallowed, and looked over at the short girl. She was smiling sweetly at him, holding out her hand to shake. Draco finally took her hand in his, after all, there was no way for her to prove he called her Ray-Ray all week.

He was wrong. Raven took out her wand and cast the "eternal oath" spell. She took her deals a little too seriously, Draco decided. He hastily removed his hand from her grip once she was done, and wiped the sweat aggressively against his pants. Raven giggled, and stood on her toes to kiss him on the nose.
  "See ya, Dray-Dray."
She turned and skipped down the hall, very pleased with herself.

Draco watched her leave, and glanced down at his hand, where the gold bindings were fading into his skin. "Bloody hell," Draco thought, as he made his way to the Great Hall once more, "this girl is worse than Umbridge."

"Hey Draco!" Called a voice behind him, "who's your new girlfriend?"

...this was going to be fun.
