XXXVII. but I

Cailey's POV
Okay I was struggling to talk to Will at this point but it seems like he's not even caring to talk to me. I always put notes onto his desk and also onto his locker because I know how to open lockers. Yes, I can. But all of those were just nothing to him. He doesn't seem to care about it. The other day, I said to meet me in the cafeteria, I waited there for like an hour and he did not showed up. I was in there until the day went off. Then last night I called him several times but it seems like he blocked my number. I just don't understand him, I wanted to talk to him, I just wanted to explain everything at him, I just wanted to say I needed him and also, I wanted to say I love him. I don't want to waste any time now because the class would end tomorrow morning and still we haven't settled things up

"Cailey! dinner's ready!" my mom shouted from downstairs. I quickly rushed out of the door since I am so hungry right now. I passed grand staircase, pass the living room but-

"Hela...dinner's ready" I reminded her. Her school just ended week ago and she seems not letting go of the TVs remote control for a week now. I decided to went near her when I suddenly paused for a while as my eyes locked with the TV screen "what are you watching?"

"Paranormal Activities" she proudly said. That's when after I asked her when a scream went through the speaker that startled me

okay this kid is weird

"what? really?"

"yeah..." she came to look back at me and her eyes are red. I just remembered just couple days back, I was surprised by her being alone on the couch sleeping. That's when I realize she fell asleep to the Conjuring that's been airing on the TV that night, she says that it's not even that scary, she even care to say it's boring

"you really need to take a sleep Hela..." she then proceeded to walk beside me "or I'll tell mom" I look down at her and frown starts to form on her face

"please...don't"

"what is it Cailey?" mom asked us as we entered the dinning room. I look down at her

"please don't" she mouthed, that's where I nodded and we both proceeded to walk further inside. I helped her get into the chair because she still can't reach it. I sat beside her and yet mom again asked

"what is it Cailey?"

"mom do you have any makeup for tomorrow's event?" I asked her. She looked up on me surprised

"why don't we go shopping tonight?" she said. I look on her confused and it feels like she need to say something to me, girl to girl "it's still 6:30, the mall would close at 9 pm though so we still have a lot of time to go shopping"

"okay...but how about Hela?"

"what about me?" she asked me, trying to eat the broccoli

"your dad will be home soon, so he can have time with Hela" she smiles and went out of her chair to go back in the kitchen. I was confused by that because she's not always like this, what the heck did she even eat?

"dad will be home soon" she said and this time she chewed the broccoli, later on she decided to spit it out since she doesn't like it "I hate it"

"you better should love it now because I'll be away soon" she looked down a bit, that's when I suddenly hear her snob "are you going to miss your sister?"

"no..." okay that hurts

"then why are you crying?"

"I'm just happy you can move on with your life" then she dtands up on the chair and gave me a hug "I miss you"
