3rd Person POV
At Grace Field House
Age: 10
Norman turned to Ray.
Y/n had finally fallen asleep due to exhaustion after their time outside and on Ray.
"Do you like, Y/n?"
Norman asked out of nowhere.
Ray didn't respond.
"I do. . . but she doesn't like me. Well, I don't think she does. We're just siblings. . . Plus, by how it looks. She likes you, Ray,"
He said, moving his chess piece.
Ray chuckled, moving his and taking Norman's.
"Yeah right. I can only hope. But whatever."
Ray told him.
Norman smiled.
"I'd like to get rid of my feelings. I guess... the best way to do that is to ignore her..."
He muttered.
Ray looked up,
"But why? Won't that only hurt her?"
Norman nodded.
"I know... I hope it doesn't. But if it gets her closer to you... since you like her and all. I hope it all works out,"
Norman mutters.
"Ha... Norman, you're willing to lose to me? Just so I'm happy with Y/n?"
He asked.
Norman smiled.
"I want all of you to be happy. And so, I hope you two are happy together if she likes you,"
He continued.
"We're only ten, idiot. There's none of that anytime soon."
Ray scoffed.
"As you say... but I win this time,"
Norman said as he won the game.
Norman looked to the h/c haired girl and frowned.
Please be happy. That was his only wish.
She liked Norman either way.
No matter how much he pushed her, blindly, to love Ray.

Man... I hope that really clears up why Norman started to ignore the reader.
