Reader's POV

Arms wrapped around me quickly and I was pulled back.
I took a deep breath, realizing it was Yuugo.

I sighed in relief, but I didn't say anything else out of fear.
We were all hidden in the weapon room.

Except for Lucas and Rossi...
No no.

Yuugo kept a hold on me, sensing I was panicking.

"Are you all okay? Is everyone here?"
Emma asked.

"I just counted. There's 62 of us. Everyone is safely here, except for Rossi and Lucas,"
Gilda said.

"Thanks,"
Emma responded.

"Yuu, I'm going to go with Lucas and Rossi,"
I said softly.

"No, Y/n, you can't,"
he told me.

"I'm small, Yuu. I need to make sure they're safe. If something... if something happens to Lucas, Rossi will be alone,"
I said, my heart beating fast.

Yuugo was hesitant, he took a deep breath and handed me a few weapons.
"be careful. If anything happens to you, Y/n..."
he trailed off, his gaze on Ray.

"It'll be a shithole,"
he finished.

I nodded slightly. Chris looked at us in worry.
"Y/n, be safe... I swore to protect you, so I have to when the time is right,"
he said cutely.

I smiled and nodded.
"I'll give you the chance, Chris. But stay safe down here,"
I told him.

He nodded, giving me a thumbs up.

I took a deep breath and hurried up the ladder.
I saw Ray and Emma's horrified faces, but I didn't do anything on it and continued going up.

"Y/n-"
Oliver called out, but I was out before I could hear the rest. 

"They're safe... stay safe. I love you."
I muttered to myself as I got out. 

I put everything back in its place and looked around, holding onto my gun tightly.

{ The secret room! They have to be in there. I can feel it. }

I hurried to it, going into it silently.

Lucas was surprised to see me, along with Rossi who almost had a heartattack.

"Hey,"
I muttered.

Rossi hugged me tightly.

"What are we going to do?"
Rossi asked softly.

Lucas took out his gun and Rossi's eyes widened, but I nodded.
Yuugo's words ran in my mind.

{ "The shelter has three entry points. Other than the one we always use... there are two emergency exits.
There are seven routes to the emergency exits. 

One, the back of the armory. 
Two, the north hallway.
Three, the monitoring room.
Four, the reference room.
Five, the bath.
Six, the south hallway.
And seven, the secret room with the phone." }

Lucas opened the hatch.
And we went in.

"Lucas? We should be going,"
Rossi said when Lucas stopped.

Lucas looked through one of the slits.
"Oh no..."
Rossi and I muttered in worry. I kept a hold on him.

{ Shoot. There's a guy in there... 
And they've already discovered it's fake footage. If the footage goes up, everyone will be in plain sight when they get up. }

"Hide and wait here,"
Lucas told Rossi, I nodded to him. 

"Y/n and I will handle this,"
Lucas then said.

I got out with Lucas, and we snuck up behind the guy. 
I punched him in the stomach, so it was easy for Lucas to grab and choke him out.

Lucas panted slightly.

"Lucas...Y/n..."
Rossi said.

"Don't come out yet,"
I said.

"We're going to destroy the monitors. Rossi, you should..."
Lucas picked up the walkie-talkie.

My eyes widened.
"Rossi. Go now!!"
I ordered.

His face shot in panic and I kissed his forehead.
"Go, you'll be safe. Run,"
I said, and he did.

I turned to Lucas, my expression was probably one of fear because he hugged me gently.
I didn't want this to be the end now...

{ We can't use the emergency exits. Because they're waiting for us. }
