I sighed as I left Norman's office.

We walked back to the house silently.
Emma stopped me at the door.

"Y/n, thank you for standing up for me..."
She said softly.

"It was nothing, Emma."
I replied, even though I was ready to tackle Barbara at the moment.

She gave me a smile.
"You're really brave, Y/n!"
She complimented and I felt my face heat up.

"I just... I didn't like her yelling at you. I got mad,"
