"hey dad i'm going to work" i rushed out the door

"ok drive safely sweetie" he shouted from his office

"where do you think you are going?" my step mom asked

"i'm going to work unlike you" i opened the door

"watch it!" she rolled her eyes

"try me anna" i shut the door

i walked to my car that was parked in the driveway, as i got into my car i got a phone call

"hello?" i said

"hey" hayes said

"hey" i smiled

"where are you going?" he asked

"well i'm going to work!i'm working 6 hours today" i started the car

"do you want to hang out during your break?" he asked

"sure where?" i started driving

"the place down the street of the coffee shop" he said

"the one next to the bakery?" i asked

"yes" he said

"ok, i'm driving right now so text me when you are at the place" i said

"ok love you" he said

"love you too" i hung up

i was listening to some music as i drove to the cafe after 30 minutes i finally got to the cafe

"hey sarah"

"hi david" i checked in

i put on my uniform and went to the register

"next in line" i said

"hi"

"hi what can i get you" i asked

"uh what do you recommend?"

"well we have a special today, it's an iced chai tea latte with a croissant" i said

"well i'll have that special"

"ok your total is 5.99" i said

"here's 6 dollars"

"thank you" i looked up

"just round it up" he said

"oh ok, wait can i have a name for that" i asked

"uh yes zach"

"ok thank you" i handed him the receipt

i made the drink

"order for zach" i said

"right here"

i handed him the cup but i dropped it

"o my god i'm so sorry" i quickly got a towel

"it's ok"

"no it's not ok" i said

"seriously uh sarah it's fine"

"i'll go make you another one!" i said

"ok"

i backed away but i dropped some latte on the floor and i almost slipped

"woah you ok?"

that zach boy was holding my arm from keeping me up from falling

"yea i'm fine, your latte is on the way"i said

i cleaned everything up and i made him his latte
