it's halloween and i haven't talked to hayes in almost 3 weeks. i've been thinking about him lately. i realized i still loved him

i turned my phone off, i guess he is still mad about me walking out. i changed adrian out of the costume and into pants and a shirt
"HAYES IS HERE!" my sister shouted from downstairs
i walked down fast with adrian
"hey!" i smiled
"can we talk outside?" he asked
"uh sure" i closed the door behind us
i was carrying adrian in one hand
"what did you want to talk about" i asked
"about 3 weeks ago" he ran his fingers through his hair
"hayes i love you" i said in one breath
"wait what?" he smiled
"hayes i love you, not just as friends not just as best friends but more! i realized the 3 years we spent together were the best times of my life" i smiled
he kissed me. i kissed him back. he broke the kiss and looked at me. his green eyes were something i always adored. adrian started giggling. me and hayes both started smiling. we went inside and i was trembling
"hey dad hayes is here!" i shouted
"hi hayes!" he shouted from upstairs
"do you want to come up to my room?" i asked
"sure" he put his keys down
we went upstairs and i fed adrian and put him to sleep.
"so what's going to happen now?" hayes asked
"i don't know? i mean you live in north carolina? i found my own apartment more up state" i said
"wait what?" he smiled
"i found a perfect small studio flat for me and adrian to live in up in bay area" i smiled
"WAIT YOU BOUGHT YOUR FIRST APARTMENT?" he said
"YES" i handed him the keys
"sarah i'm so happy for you" he hugged me tight "so when do you leave LA?"
"next week" i said
"sarah i know it's bad timing but i found an apartment here in LA because i'm moving another location here" he said
