it was wednesday afternoon and i only had 3 classes and i had to go to work

"david?" i walked into the cafe

i was looking around

"david?" i started freaking out

"i'm in here" he shouted

"o my god you almost made me shit my pants" i laughed

"well i'm fine i just couldn't hear you" he said

"well i guess we should start opening up" i got the keys

i got a message

"hold on" i said

hayes💙: hey babe! are you at work?

me: yes i'm at work!

me: do you need anything?

hayes💙: do you think we can hang out at the cafe during your break?

me: uh sure

me: my break is at 3:30 today!

hayes💙: ok!

me: see you later

hayes💙: see ya love you!

me: love you too

"ok the cafe is open" david said

"ok" i walked to the register

i was handling customers for about three hours

"hi" i said

"hi"

"what can i get you?" i asked

"a iced chai tea latte"

"ok what size?" i asked

"large"

"ok a name for that?" i asked

"zach"

i looked up

"oh hey zach!" i smiled

"hey sarah didn't notice you with the hat and your crazy hair" he laughed

"haha so funny" i laughed

"well here's 6 dollars keep the change" he said

"ok thanks" i said

i made his drink

"zach your iced chai tea latte" i said

"you aren't going to drop it or anything" he laughed

"not this time" i laughed

zach sat down and we were talking for a while and then hayes came

"well i'll see you later?" zach asked

"yea for sure" i cleaned the counter

"ok bye" he went back outside

i went on my break, i fixed my hair and took off my hat

"who was that guy?" hayes asked

"oh just a friend" i said

"you guys seem more than friends" he said

"gosh don't be over protective! we only have talked twice but texted a lot" i explained

"well no one can have you" he wrapped his arm around me
