"hey sarah you are over sleeping!" my dad said
"it's sunday let me sleep in!" i groaned
"it's 3 in the afternoon"he opened the curtains
"ugh fine" i sat up
"are you still upset because of hayes?" he sat at the edge of my bed
"no i'm fine now" i said
"well i have to go to a quick meeting" he kissed the top of my head
"ok bye" i grabbed my phone
i had a missed call from hayes and 5 text messages from him
hayes💙: are you awake yet?
hayes💙: it's almost 1!
hayes💙: just call me back
hayes💙: we didn't quite sort things out yesterday
hayes💙: lets just talk
i called hayes
"hey! did you read my text?"
"yea i did" i said
"are you like upset with me?"
"no i was so tired yesterday"i lied
"are you sure?"
"yes i'm fine" i said
"can i come over?"
"uh in an hour? i just woke up" i got up
"it's 3 in the afternoon!"
"yes but i fell asleep at 2" i said
"why?"
"i was just on my phone" i said
"ok i'll be there in an hour"
"ok then i'll see you later" i said
"ok love you bye"
"love you bye" i hung up
i started taking a shower, brushing my hair, brushing my teeth, putting on an outfit and did my makeup
"sarah, hayes is here" my step mom shouted
i ran downstairs and hugged him
"hey" he hugged me
"come in" i said
we went upstairs to my room
"soo" he layed on my bed
"i don't know but i have homework to do" i sat in the chair i had by my desk
"well you finish your homework and i'll watch some TV" he turned on the tv
"i thought you came here so we can talk about yesterday" i sat on the edge of the bed
"oh forget about it!" he said
"hayes can we talk about it!" i said
"fine!" he sat up
"what are we even going to do when you are across the country?" i asked
"i don't think the relationship is going to work" he frowned
"i know and that's the part i'm scared of" my voice cracked
"i don't want to break up with you but we are going to have to break up after graduation" he said
"gosh i hate that we are a year apart!" i said
