we left the hospital a few days ago. i start school again in a few days. i'm finishing online homework when zach comes home

"hey babe i'm home" he said

"hey" i said not looking back

"where's adrian?" he came over to me

"he's sleeping keep it down" i looked up

"what are you doing" he sits on the couch with me

"finishing homework" i said as i typed my paper

"what class?" he asked

"uh english" i said

"you know you are supposed to have your glasses on" he tried looking for my glasses

"i had them on but then i went to the store and i forgot to put them back on" i said

"take care of them" he handed me my glasses

"thanks" i put them on

"are you going out today?" he asked

"no" i said "are you?"

"no that's why i got home early" he said

"wait what time is it?" i asked

"it's 6pm" he said

"well you are home early" i said

adrian started crying

"shit i have to go" i moved my laptop to the side and started walking to the room

he was crying really loud and it meant he was hungry. i closed the door and i fed him.

"shhh it's ok mommy is here" i rocked the baby

i finished feeding adrian and i rocked him till he fell asleep. i saw zach in the doorway. i smiled at him and he came inside like a smile was an invite to come inside but anyways. i put adrian down on the crib

"you looked insanely cute doing that" zach smiled

"uh thanks" i said

"no seriously" he sat next to me

"thanks" i smiled

"i have to go. jonah is calling me" he got up

"ok" i said

i finished my paper in my room and it was almost 8 and zach was still on the phone. i went to go check on the clothes in the dryer. i started folding them and i come across a shirt that's not even mine. it's a much smaller shirt

"WHAT THE HELL?" zach said as i hung up his phone call

"explain?" i pulled out the shirt

"explain what?" he said

"this shirt? i'd never buy slutty clothes" i threw the shirt at him

"that is your shirt!" he said

"i've never worn any shirts that show my stomach and you know that!" i said

"ok fine fine it's my ex girlfriends" he said

tears swelled up in my eyes

"it's over" i cried

"what no! that shirt was months ago before you moved in!" he grabbed my wrist

"let go" i said

"no i'm not letting you go before i give you an explanation" he pulled me closer

"no it's over" i said

"no that was kays shirt! i was cleaning out my side of the closet and i never realized that when we broke up i still had some of her clothes and i washed them to drop them off. i would never cheat on you because i love you" he pulled me into a hug

i didn't know what to believe. i wanted to believe him but i couldn't

"i wish i could believe you but i can't zach" i wiped my tears

"no sarah you have to believe me!" he said

"i wish i could but i'm just going to go to bed and think of this and try to process everything" i walked away

"ok i'll meet you in a bit" he said

i got into bed and i went on my phone for a little bit then i was actually tired and i tried going to sleep but then tears came rolling down my face. i heard footsteps and it was zach, he layed down on the bed and i could hear him, he was crying.

"hey are you awake?" zach said

"yea" i whispered

"can we talk please" he said

"ok go ahead speak" i said as i faced the wall

he turned me over and i was facing him. his eyes were red

"why the hell are you crying? i'm the one that got cheated on" i said

"i never cheated on you! stop saying i cheated on you!" he said

"then what happened?" i rolled my eyes

"when me and kay were dating she always left her stuff at my place and there was a space for her clothes that she always left. once me and you got back together i cleaned everything from my closet and i was washing the clothes so i can just drop them off. nothing ever happened with me and kay after we got together. i would never do that to you because i love you" he pulled me in closer and hugged me

"zach i'm sorry for jumping to conclusions" i said

"it's fine" he said

adrian started crying. i got up and went to the couch to feed him. it was almost midnight and i was so tired. i fell asleep on the couch. when i woke up adrian wasn't in my arms anymore. i started freaking out

"where's adrian???" i ran into the kitchen where zach was

"i brought him to the crib to let you sleep." he said as he was making food

"thank you" i kissed his cheek

"you still look tired. maybe go back to sleep" he said

"no i think i'll be fine" i washed my hands

"ok" he said

"well i have to get ready" i said

"where are you going" he asked

sally (business phone) : so are you ready to come back?

me: actually not yet. my boyfriend has work and i can't leave my baby alone haha

sally (business phone) : just bring him along

me: are you sure?

sally (business phone) : yes
