Chapter 10

3rd Person's POV

"That's all for today. You could go home now, Class."

The teacher said and all students quickly stand up and made their way out of their room.

Jiaqi immediately went out of their classroom as she waited for like an eternity for class to end.

Before she could even go out of the classroom, A voice called her.

"Hey, Jiaqi. Are you going home now?"

Lingzi said as she went in front of Jiaqi.

"Yeah. I'm on my way to the parking lot. Wanna walk with me?"

Jiaqi said and Lingzi agreed.

They walked towards the parking lot while talking about lots of things about each other.

"My cousin is actually studying here so my parents decided to transfer me here."

Lingzi said.

"Oh. Is that so? I've actually been studying here since the first year of highschool. I might know who your cousin is. Would you mind telling me her name?"

Jiaqi said.

"Yuxin. Liu Yuxin."

Lingzi said.

"Oh. You mean the girl who has a boy-cut hairstyle who likes dancing?"

Jiaqi asked Lingzi. Making sure if she's right.

"Yeah. You're right. You know her?"

Lingzi asked.

"Not that much. I just know that she's in the dance club. I'm actually also part of it."

Jiaqi said.

"Oh I didn't know you like dancing."

"Hmm. How about you? Are you planning to join any club?"

"I don't know yet. I actually like skateboarding but I also sing and dance."

Lingzi said.

They talked about more stuffs and finally reached the parking lot.

"I'll be waiting for my cousin here. I'll see you tomorrow, Jiaqi. Take care!"

Lingzi said to Jiaqi.

"I could accompany you while waiting for your cousin. I have nothing much to do anyways."

Jiaqi said and Lingzi just nodded.

They continued talking while waiting for Lingzi's cousin to arrive.

"Oh! Yuxin!"

Lingzi said and Jiaqi looked where Lingzi is looking.

There, She saw Yuxin walking towards them but beside her was... Xueer.

Xueer and Yuxin were talking and Jiaqi saw how Xueer give Yuxin a sweet smile.

"Since when did they became close?"

Jiaqi thought.

"Hey, Lingzi! Oh, You're with Jiaqi? Are you guys close?"

Yuxin said and looked at Jiaqi and Lingzi.

Jiaqi noticed that the smile on Xueer's face disappeared as she saw her.

"We met a week ago and it's a coincidence that we're classmates. We're still getting along."

Lingzi answered and Jiaqi just smiled.

"By the way, Lingzi. This is Xueer. A friend of mine."

Yuxin introduced and Lingzi reached out her hand to shake hands with Xueer and the girl accepted it gladly.

"I think we'll be heading home now. Goodbye, Xueer. See you tomorrow! See you, Jiaqi!

Yuxin said and both girls just smiled.

"Jiaqi, Thanks for today! I'll see you tomorrow. You too, Xueer! I hope we could get along!"

Lingzi said as she smiled to both of the girls and left with Yuxin.

Now, It's just Xueer and Jiaqi standing in front of each other.

"I'll be heading home now."

Xueer said and started to walk away but Jiaqi grabbed her hand.

"When did you became so close with Yuxin?"

Jiaqi asked.

"We're just starting to get to know each other. She's an interesting person."

Xueer answered without any expression on her face.

Jiaqi let go of Xueer's hand and spoke

"I wish you also do the same thing with me. I'll get going. See you at the dorm. Take care."

Jiaqi said with no emotion.

It's all new for Xueer since Jiaqi never acted that way from the very first time they met.

Xueer decided to head back home as well and shake off her thoughts about Jiaqi's sudden mood swing.

Seems like Jiaqi and Lingzi are getting along well, Same goes for Xueer and Yuxin.
