3rd Person's POV
It's been two weeks since the regular classes started. Jiaqi and Lingzi grew closer with each other and are inseperable most of the time. Same goes eith Yuxin and Xueer who spends most of their time at the dance clhb together.
It's also been two weeks since Jiaqi stopped annoying Xueer.
Surprisingly, Xueer feels so weird. She thought she should be happy with not being annoyed all day with Jiaqi, But she's wrong. She feels so new without Jiaqi pestering her.
It's saturday and the girls have nothing to do so all of them just gathered in the living room, Busy with their own stuffs.
Xueer's whole attention was on her phone, Reading more spam messages from her ex-boyfriend, Making her completely frustrated.
She don't understand why her ex still keeps on messaging her, Asking for forgiveness and one more chance. Xueer didn't mind giving him a single reply. She doesn't want to start a coversation with him anymore after everything he did.
Xueer keeps sighing as she reads the messages.
On the other hand, Jiaqi occasionally glances at Xueer and she noticed how focused the girl is on her phone.
Jiaqi don't understand herself as well. She doesn't know why she decided to avoid the girl. She doesn't know why she started to stop her routine of annoying the girl every day.
She noticed how Xueer keeps on sighing as she scroll through her phone.
She wonders why. Is something bugging her? Does she have a problem? Or maybe she's just bored?
She keeps on glancing at the girl, Not letting herself get caught.
A few moments later, Xueer stood up and spoke.
"Um guys... I'll just go out for a bit."
Xueer said while the others looked at her.
"But it's already late, Xueer. It's dangerous outside."
Yu Yan said.
"I can handle myself. I just need some fresh air."
Xueer said.
"Okay but be back before midnight, alright?"
Dai Meng answered and Xueer just nodded.
She went to her and Jiaqi's shared room to change her clothes.
After a few minutes, She went out of the room and bid goodbye to her dormmates.
Jiaqi can't stop herself from thinking about the girl. She can't help but get curious about what's happening with Xueer.
Few minutes later, She decided to excuse herself from her dormmates.
"I need to go to the convinience store."
She said.
"And why?"
Dai Meng asked.
"I--- I'm g-getting f-food. Right. I'm getting food."
"Did you forget that we just had dinner an hour ago?"
Dai Meng said. Not believing Jiaqi's excuse.
"Lame excuse, Jiaqi. Just say that you want to follow Xueer outside."
Keni said that made Jiaqi's ears red.
"N-No. I'm not. I- I told you I'm getting food. I'll h-have an ice cream at t-the convinience store."
Jiaqi defended herself, Still stuttering.
"As if we'll believe you, Jiaqi."
Eliwa said and laughed along with Shuxin.
"Shut your mouths. Just let me go out, Dai Meng. I told you I'm having ice cream."
Jiaqi said.
"Fine. Just be back before midnight like Xueer. And, I don't believe your excuse, Jiaqi. Just don't do anything bad at Xueer, Alright?"
Dai Meng said and laughed.
"You guys are the worst. I'm leaving!"
Jiaqi said and went to her room to find a hoodie.
She quickly went out of their dorm so that she won't have to deal more with her dormmate's teasing.
That's the first time they ever teased Jiaqi with Xueer and it made Jiaqi embarassed.
It's true that Jiaqi wants to follow Xueer outside. She'd like to talk to Xueer and wants ti start getting along with her.
But the problem is, She don't know how to.
She made her way to the park, Trying to look for Xueer. It's the first place that came to her mind. She thought that Xueer might have went to the park since it's the only place where there are no lots of people.
She went inside the park and lucky for her, Xueer is there. Sitting on one of the benches. Staring at the sky.
Jiaqi went to sit beside her quietly. Xueer didn't even notice that a certain girl sat beside her. She's completely lost staring at the sky full of stars.
"The stars are very interesting to stare at, Isn't it?"
