Chapter 15

Jiaqi's POV

"Is Jiaqi waiting for Xueer again?"

"They're always together these past few days, I think they're dating."

"I thought Lingzi and Jiaqi are dating. Is it Xueer and Jiaqi now?"

"Too bad for Xueer. I'm sure she'll just end up like Jiaqi's girls in the past."

"I was actually hoping to be Jiaqi's new girl. How did that Xueer girl got first than me?"

I just smirked hearing the murmurs of the students passing by. Do they really think that me and Xueer are dating? That'll never happen. Me and Xueer are friends. I'll never risk our friendship just for a short-term relationship.

"Oh, Jiaqi! Have you been waiting here for long? I'm sorry the teacher didn't dismiss us early."

Xueer said as she went out of her classroom and start explaining.

Cute.

"Don't worry, Princess. I just got here actually."

I said. It's a lie. I've been waiting here for about 7 minutes, I think. But it's fine as long as it's for Xueer.

We started walking to the parking lot so we could go home. I insisted to just drive her to school and back home everyday. It took me so much time to convince her because she always says that she could drive on her own. At last, She agreed.

"Hey, Why are you so quiet?"

I asked since we've been here in the car for 5 minutes already and she hasn't even say a word.

"Jiaqi."

"Hmm?"

"Remember what I told you the night when you comforted me?"

"Yeah. What about it, Princess?"

I asked still focused driving.

"J--Jiaqi h--he messaged me a-again."

She said while stuttering.

I know she's having a hard time everytime her ex boyfriend messages her. She likes to move on already but her ex makes it harder for her to. I know Xueer still loves him and there's a possibility that she give in and get back with him.

But I also know that Xueer doesn't like to get back with him anymore. He already hurt her. There's no point of going back.

She's really having a hard time dealing with her emotions. She loves him but she don't want to deal with the pain anymore.

I placed my right hand on top of her thigh and slowly rub it while my left hand is on the steering wheel.

It's to comfort her... Not anything else.

"Don't worry, Xueer. You always have me, okay?"

I said.

"I don't know what to do anymore, Jiaqi. I already did everything I could for him to stop. I blocked him on everything already but he still found ways to contact me."

She said with frustration present on her voice.

She's really having a hard time.

"Don't think about it anymore, Xueer. Look, Why don't we go clubbing tonight? So you could shake off your thoughts? You want?"

I said. That's the only thing I know that could make her calm even just for a short period of time. That's what I always do. I always go clubbing everytime I have problems.

Xueer just nodded and I continued driving back home.
