Chapter 35

Jiaqi's POV

I finally arrived at the house after dropping Lingzi.

"Jiaqi! Baby! You're here!"

Keni shouted and run to hug me.

"Get off me! Go back to your Yu Yan!"

I said and she released me followed with a pout.

I then went inside my shared room with Xueer to find no one there.

Where's Xueer?

She isn't home yet?

I went to the bathroom to check if she's there.

I opened the door but a loud shout welcomed me.

"GET OUT! SOMEONE'S HERE!!"

The voice shouted. That's Xueer.

I didn't mean to though.

Besides, I didn't see anything.

"Fine. Fine. I'm sorry!"

I replied before going out.

After a few minutes, Xueer went out.

"You pervert!"

She said and smacked me.

"That hurts! I'm not a pervert! I didn't even see anything! Also, You don't nees to be so concious because I've seen every part of yours!"

I said and her face turned red.

"Shut up! Stop bringing that up!"

She siad and went to her bed.

I stand up and walk towards her bed.

I sat down and give her a side hug.

"Jiaqi, Stop that."

She said while focusing on her phone.

"I'm tired. I want to hug you."

I said and grabbed carefully grabbed her phone from her hand.

"Give that back to me."

She said but I didn't listen.

"Stop it first and give me a hug."

I said after putting down her phone on the table.

I then layed her down on her bed and hugged her tightly.

"Jiaqi, They might think we're doing something again."

She said.

"Let them be. I don't care. I want to hug you."

I said and hugged her more tightly.

Hugging her is the best feeling I've ever recieved.

"You're confessing tomorrow, right?"

She said. We're still hugging each other.

"Yeah."

I said with my eyes closed.

"Whatever happens, I want you to know that I' always here by your side."

Her words made me open my eyes to look at her.

I stared at her eyes for a moment.

Tears.

Is she sad? Happy? Excited?

Why are there tears in her eyes?

"X-Xueer, You're t-tearing up. Is there any p-problem?"

I said worriedly.

"No. I'm just happy for you, Jiaqi."

She said and burried her face on my neck.

"Thank you, Xueer. I love you."

I said and kissed her crown.

"Anything for you, Jiaqi. I love you too."

She said.

And we fell asleep on each other's arms.

Short but a soft chapter. I really feel bad for Xueer.
