Jiaqi's POV

"Really? Me and Lingzi are fine."

I started.

"We stayed as friends."

I continued which made her look at me in shock.

Why though?

"You know what? I like you too, Jiaqi."

She said and my eyes widened.

Am I hearing this right?

S-She likes me too?

Before I could say anything, She pulled me into a long tight hug.

After pulling away from the hug, She held both of my hands and stared at me.

"We both like each other as friends."

She said.

"W-What? No. I-I mean I like you. Romantically. I like you, Lingzi. A lot."

I nervously said.

Does it mean that she doesn't like me the way I like her?

She only like me as her friend? That's it?

"You don't, Jiaqi. You don't like me romantically."

"You only think that you do because that's what you made your self believe."

"I saw how you stare at a certain person like she's the most precious thing in this world. I noticed how happy you are everytime you two are together and I also noticed how you try not to show your jealousy and anger everytime she's with someone else."

She said and my eyes widened.

Xueer?

Why is she suddenly included in this talk?

"N-No. You got the wrong idea. X-Xueer is only my friend."

I told her.

It's true.

Xueer and I are just friends.
