Chapter Twenty-One

Chapter Twenty One:

 

 

 “And now I present to you, your new Alpha and Luna!”

  I and Payton kissed, causing the pack to go wild and cheer. We broke apart and smiled, feeling our bond finally complete. Power rushed through my veins, and I’m sure it did through his too. We were officially The Alpha and Luna of the Shadow Moon pack! We ran down the isle and I saw Emily, who was sobbing into a tissue loudly next to a very uncomfortable Zak who was trying to comfort her.

 This past moth has been pretty hectic. Not only did our mating marks show up, but so did Emily and Zak’s! I think that Emily and Zak will be hearing wedding bells soon if you know what I mean.

 I squealed as Payton picked me up bridal style and ran me to the car, setting me inside. It was almost like our wedding day!

 We waved goodbye and he drove us to our new house. Our Alpha passed it to us as a gift, which we were thankful for. It was a large house with plenty of land surrounding it and a beautiful lake and garden as well. I couldn’t have picked out a better place myself. Payton and I plopped onto the ouch when we got inside and I slipped off my heels, almost moaning from relief. Jesus those things were killer! Who suggested them again?

 “I’m going to go get us some drinks.” Payton said, standing up.

 “Alright! Can you get me a cookie too?” I called.

 He chuckled and replied back with a short ‘yes babe’.

 When he came back he was holding two wine glasses and a bottle of wine. He poured some for both of us and we drank it as we sat down and unwound. I was almost finished with my glass, when I felt something at the bottle of the glass. I looked down and saw a ring…an…an engagement ring. My face paled as I looked up to see Payton smiling at me knowingly.

 I grabbed it from the bottom of the glass and wiped it off, slipping it on my finger as I admired it.

 “If this is a promise ring I’m going to fucking kill you…” I muttered.

 He laughed and shook his head, kissing my other hand.

 “Calla, I’ve loved you ever since you walked through the door of my house and poked your shy head into my room. I knew that ever since we kissed that day, I wanted to be with you for a long time. When you saved me that day and I found out who you really were, I was overjoyed. Because I had fallen in love with both parts of you. And I think that deep down inside…I knew it was you all along. We’re already mates, we’re already partners, so will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” He got down on one knee and grinned up at me.

 “Calla Annette Lenore, will you marry me?”

 Tears cascaded down my cheeks as I nodded my head quickly. I squealed and jumped on top of him, kissing him over and over again lovingly.

 “I-“

 Kiss.

 “Love-“

 Kiss.

 “You!”

 Kiss.

 “And I love you, my little Mystery Wolf.”

That's the end guys! Our little story has finally come to a close. Next is the Epic Epilogue! Oh and by the way, i'm crying as I'm writing this because this ending is too much for me.
