ix. finally getting along again

"im going back home," i blankly told him.

"no. you are not going home," he responded while recieving his key. "if you are going home then you have to take mattia with you. anyways, i want you and mattia together so we would be having lunch at noon, so you guys get ready. i want to be able to let you guys interact with the fans," he then left me without letting me say a word.

i went back to the room and heard the music turnoff as soon as i walked in. mattia was nowhere to be found and alejandro and kairi were just on there computers.
"hey guys, do you happen to know where mattia is?" i asked them as they just nodded.
"he told us that he was going to get some fresh air and left us with cynthia," kairi explained.

"okay thanks," i left my luggage and went down the stairs to get there faster since is was already eleven and we had to get ready. i saw that the lobby was already filling up with fans, so i put my hood up to try to find him faster. i went towards to find him.

i went through the doors that led towards the pool area. i saw him sitting down on a lawn chair while on his phone. i ran up to him as fast as i could because at this point we would only have a few minutes to get ready. i got to his chair and started to gasp for air.
"ma.. tia," i gasped while sitting on the chair next to him. he hand me his water bottle, i took a huge gulp finally able to talk.

"now what were you say? and i thought you were going home?" he asked.
"well, i saw micheal," i told me taking another sip from the water.
"wait, what did he say?" mattia asked very panicked, "did he hear about the cheating rumors?"
"maybe... yes.," i quickly said to him, "but we have to go get ready. he invited us to go to lunch with him."
"then lets go!" he exclaimed as he grabbed my hand and yanked me into the hotel and back to our room in just five minutes.

we got there with 40 minutes to get ready, luckily kairi and alejandro weren't there. i went to the bathroom with a red summer dress and sandals. i put my hair in a half bun and then the rest curled. i then applied mascara and gloss and left the room with only 15 minutes for us to get to the lobby. mattia was already ready so we headed down.

"what do you think he is gonna tell us?" i asked mattia nervously.
"don't worry," he said giving me a smile and went to grab my hand, "everything will be fine."

we got to the lobby to see micheal with his wife, lily. we greeted them and went in their car to some semi-fancy diner. we went in and took a seat in a booth. we ordered our drinks and micheal started to talk to us.

"so, i heard the cheating rumors from snapchat if i'm not wrong," he said
"yes, i am so sorry, i just went to breakfast with my friend, nic-" i got cut off by mattia.
"its my fault, we got into a fight last night and i decided to go have lunch with my friend cynthia. i didn't think all these weird rumors would start," mattia confessed.

i looked at him with a confused expression since we even argued about this and he blamed it on me.
"now, its both of your faults. i was talking with your parents earlier and they gave me permission to due so," mattia and i looked at micheal even more confused.
"sorry, i'm confused," i confessed.
"basically, tate you would be spending a week with mattia in new jersey with his family. you would also spend a week at his school so you two can spend every single day together," micheal explained leaving us shocked.

after mattia and i got our drinks, we decided to leave and went to call an uber. we stood outside waiting for the uber as i just stood their very confused.
"at least you can hangout with the jersey boys even more," mattia joked.
"don't reminded me," i sarcastically said laughing with him.

we went back to the hotel smiling and met up with a bunch of our friends. we went to the lobby and went near the pool and hung out with a bunch of fans. we got to say bye to anthony and some of the hype house members as they left.

i went back to our room, mattia and i had to pack because micheal got us a separate room with just one bed.
"look tia. its soo big," i laughed as i jumped on the bed.
"let me join," he said jumping next me.

we kept on jumping and he put music on, making us laugh and sing. i then got tired so i jumped one more time, but i accidentally tripped somehow and landed on mattia. i looked up and saw that i was right on top of mattia, which made me snort and mattia started to laugh even more.

"what time is it, i feel like i'm high," i asked getting off of him and laying down next to him.
"it is now... ooh it one in the morning," he responded.
"all nighter?" i asked him jumping up from the bed.
"i'm down," he said sitting up.
"lets go get snacks!" i yelled pulling his arm as he just shushed me and followed me.
