"why are you making so much," mattia asked setting
down the spoon.
"its not much, i just made a pot of beans, then rice, the carne for the tacos. i just need to heat up some tortillas, and finish the vegetables that are boiling right now," i quickly said getting the corn tortillas from the fridge.
"why so much food though? its just dinner," he simply said.
"just a dinner? my dad is bringing over his girlfriend and he hasnt dated.. like ever. oh my! the chilé!" i gasped as i grabbed jalapeños and tomatoes from the fridge
mattias shook his head and went over to me.
"go get ready, im sure i know how to handle this," he said taking over and giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"ok, but remember to let is stay on the stove with the tin foil until it starts to crack a little then blend it and add a bunch of salt," i quickly said leaving the kitchen.
i ran upstairs to our bathroom and took a quick shower. once i got out, i dried my hair and left it down. i brushed my teeth quickly then started on my makeup. then, i went to get dress, so i put on a white dress i bought a week ago that was very flowy. i slid on my white converse and sprayed perfume on myself. i went downstairs to mattia placing the chilé on the dining table with the rest of the food.
"thank you mater, now you go get ready," i smiled giving
him a kiss on the cheek.
"ok, ill try to hurry," he responded giving me a a quick kiss
then ran up the staircase.
i grabbed the plates from the kitchen and got the table presentable enough. i went to the backyard and sat on the small couch we had. after a few minutes of justing on my phone, i saw that it was already 4:30, meaning alejandro just left and my brother and dad should be here any minute.
"mattia hurry!" i yelled as he ran down the stairs.
he was wearing a white button-up shirt with jeans
and white air forces.
"do you always want to match me?" i smiled turning towards him and patting his shoulder to fix the wrinkles.
"sure," he smiled.
all of the sudden there was a knock on the door, i quickly fixed myself and walked towards the door with mattia.
i opened it to find kayden and my dad with their girlfriends.
"come in!" i exclaimed opening the door wider for them to enter.
"this is a very nice house little sis," kayden said giving
me a hug.
"thanks" i smiled.
"wow, you and mattia are very lucky teens," my dad said with an arm around his girlfriend, lainey.
"and you must be tatum! ive heard so much about you!" lainey said giving me a huge hug.
"good things i hope," i awkwardly said receiving the hug.
mattia and i said hi to all of them and then led them towards the dining room. my dad sat at the end of the table with lainey on his right side, so i sat on his left and mattia sat next to me. which left kayden to sit at the end of the table and
julia on his left.
"so, mattia and i cooked. we made carne asada for tacos, rice, beans, veggies, and my mom's special chilè," i said.
"did you use mom's recipe book?" kayden said grabbing his plate and grabbing a spoon full of carne.
"yup!" i smiled proudly.
as we all served ourselves, we talked about different things, mostly random things. lainey would compliment the food and ask us a few questions.
"can you give me a few pointers on how you cook this because i dont think i can cook this good," lainey said.
"oh! um actually i got the recipe that my mom made for me, i could possibly send it to you through phone or something," i responded stuffing rice in my mouth right after.
"so mattia, how is my little sister treating you,"
kayden laughed.
"amazing, im so glad i can live with her," he said as he held my hand under the table.
"mattia, i was talking with your mom and she told me that you two went on a date, i didnt know," dad said with a
suspicious voice.
"yea, it didnt go well at the end but i thought i could redeem myself," he said turning towards me.
i nodded and laid my head on his shoulder which made jules and lainey to 'awe' at us. my dad stared at us amused and kayden just smiled.
after dinner, we all just sat in the living room and talked for awhile until they left. they decided to leave around 9:30. mattia and i sat back on the couch. i laid down so my head was on mattia's lap.
"im tired," i groaned closing my eyes.
"me too," mattia said removing a hair strand from my face.
"so, or second 'first' date?" i asked smiling.
"yes, i was thinking that we would go once kairi and alejandro left. its gonna be a surprise. so, no phones," he added.
"but what if i want to take a picture?" i asked sitting up.
"well then we will get disposable cameras before the actual date," he comfirmed.
i gave him a slow kiss.
"you know what i just realized," i said after pulling away.
"hm," he mumbled with his eyes clothes.
"dont we have to get married soon," i stated.
"well isnt that perfect," he said quickly getting up and picking me up.
he ran to our room and laid me on the bed, which made me giggle a little bit. he straddled me and began to kiss me.
"your one crazy teenager, mater," i moaned wrapping my arms around him. he mumbled into my neck and then went towards my lips.
"only for you."
