after a while, it was about 7 pm and i was still at the sway house with mattia. we were all watching movies. i had to sit close to mattia because micheal text me earlier that we would have to act like a couple just in case there are any cameras close. mattia and i barely talked, but we were still getting used to all the unusual vibe that was going on inside the house.
"hey tate, wanna be in our tiktok?" nessa and oaklynn asked. i of course said yes and once i was done i went to go sit next to mattia again. then i saw anthony and josh making a tiktok, but it was just showing what were doing. and of course at some point they pointed the camera to mattia and i sitting next to each other while on our phones.
"guys im going to head out, i got things to do," i said as mattia also excused himself as i gave a hug to everyone and left. mattia walked behind me as i called an uber to come pick us up. we stood there im silence as we wait.
then, out of nowhere mattia broke the silence, " i hate micheal."
"you are not alone," i replied back. i then looked at him and saw him smirk which made me smile a little bit somehow.
"we are only sixteen and we are gonna be engaged in a few weeks, i dont get it," he sighed as we got in the car.
"me neither, but if we dont do this he could possibly distroy our careers. but you dont know, maybe someday we will get along," i said then soon regretting it.
after i said that, it had been quiet until we got to my house. i quickly got out without saying bye or anything. i ran inside my house, locking the door as i closed the door. i turned around to see my dad sitting there with a stressful expression.
"hey, whats wrong?" i asked as i sat next to him.
"im so sorry tate," he cried out then i saw tears coming from his eyes.
"what are you talking about?" i asked again, at this moment i was very concerned and wiped his tears with my thumbs. "i should've done something before you had to do this," he sobbed.
"what do you mean you "should've done something"?" i asked sitting up.
"micheal called me a few days before he made you guys do it, and i just kept quiet. i didnt know what to say now you are going to be engaged in a few weeks," he explained to me. i kept quiet not knowing what to say. he knew what was going to happen and never told me. i got up and said goodnight to my dad not wanting to talk to him.
i went straight to my room and laid down on my bed. my phone started to blow up with messages.
