vii. weird conversations

"hey guys, hype and sway want to go out for dinner, wanna go?" i yelled throughout the room since mattia and alejandro were making tiktoks while i sat in my bed and kairi sat in their bed. " im down," and "sure," came from the bathroom while kairi just nodded.
"get ready then, we are meeting in the lobby at 8."

i got up and went towards my suitcase and got my outfit and my necessities.
"tia, alejandro, i really need to get dressed," i whine as mattia just gave me a kiss on the head and dragged a laughing alejandro. i closed the door with my cheeks heating up, but tried to get it out my mind since this was just a show.

i quickly got out of my airport clothes and put on some light washed high-waisted jeans with a hoodie my brother got me from santa cruz. i applied mascara and blush and sprayed a bit of perfume. when i got out the bathroom, i saw them on their phones. it was only 7 so we had an hour to spend. in that small time i got my macbook and did some extra homework.

after i finished reading a chapter for history, i realized it was about five minutes before eight, " yall ready to go?" i asked. they nodded their head so we left our room and went to the lobby. once we got to the lobby, i saw that all of the sway house was there and most off the hype was there. i went towards nick and oaklynn while the boys went to josh.

"hey guys," i smiled.
"hi ms. mattia, whats up," nick sarcastically replied as oaklynn laughed.
"haha," i replied as we started a new conversation. we talked about how nick was going to leave us for the bahamas.
"dont take dixie away from griffin though, he is like the invisible brother id never had," i told nick and he just laughed.
"shut up tate," we heard from a distant from griffin.

once we finally realized everybody was here, we decided to walk towards the cheesecake factory for the fun of it. before we left the building, mattia interrupted nick and i.
"whats up mattia," i asked once he pulled me aside.
"you cant be flirting with nick like that, it seems like we are not even in a relationship.
"excuse me? nick and i were just talking," i then walked away from him and went towards avani and nick.

"what was that about," avani asked.
"nothing," i smiled and continued to talk with them. once we got to the restaurant, we all got seat, and i of course had to sit between mattia and kio while nick sat across from me.
"so are we going to play the 'ignore' game?" i asked kio.
"no, unless you want to," he remarked with a smirk as i smack his shoulder.

after kio and i had a discussion about whether i should be in the same room with three boys, i turned around to see mattia eyeing nick as nick talked to oaklynn.
"mattia? you okay or do you like nick," i asked as i laughed, earning a glare from him. he then turned to go on his phone, which made me feel very weird do to the fact he technically ignored me.

"so how is school?" nick asked awkwardly once he saw matti ignore me.
"its fine. its a lot but i cant wait until i start my senior year in the summer so i could graduate in december," i explained to him while i felt stares from kio and mattia.
"your going to skip summer? we literally planned to go to malibu for a month," kio asked upset.
"well ill still spend that month with you guys but ill have to spend a third of the time on school. i want to get out the deal, so once i get a career, then i wont have to worry about social media," i told him and whispered the last part.

kio smiled a little bit while mattia kept staring at me in disbelief. after dinner, we all went back to our rooms. i was really dreading having to sleep in the same bed with mattia. once we got to our room, mattia and the boys sat down and started to watch a movie whole i got changed into a hoodie and leggings. i got out to see alejandro, kairi sleeping in their bed while mattia covered himself up in the covers. i felt a bit awkward to sleep in the same bed, so i got a blanket from my bag and laid on the couch.

"what the hell are you doing?" mattia whispered to me as i got on my phone trying to ignore him. mattia got up from the bed and picked me.
"what are you doing?" i fought him until he laid me on the bed. he wrapped me in the covers then went to his spot and wrapped his arm around my waist, spooning me. i felt quite uncomfortable so i tried to get out of his grip then him to said, "dont start what you cant finish." which left me confused. i then noticed what it meant and just closed my eyes in disbelief, falling into a deep sleep.
