i sat on mattia and i's bed with a single blanket that i had brought from my dad's house while on my phone. mattia and gone to new jersey for a week to get the rest of his clothes and get him registered to online school. it was around noon on a friday and i had already finished assignments for today and monday. so, i decided to text oaklynn and nessa.

i got out of bed and went towards my closet that was filled halfway with mattia and i's clothes. i put on a tie-dye sweatshirt with jean shorts. i went to the bathroom and brushed my hair and applied chapstick. i went back to the closet and slipped on my white converse and left the house.
i went to my white jeep that my dad decided to give me as a "late" birthday gift. i slipped in and played frank ocean on as i left my house. after fifteen minutes of being on the road, i was able to get to the mall with not much traffic. i tried to park as close as i could then went inside the mall. i walked towards the food court to find oaklynn and a boy with fluffy brown hair laughing.
"hey guys," i smiled. "hey, tate, this is braedon, braeden this is my best friend tate," she introduced us as she gave me a side hug. "i know who you are. arent you dating mattia polibio?" he asked shaking my hand. "oh god, yea," i laughed sitting down one of the chairs. "so, is nessa coming?" i asked taking a fry from oaklynn's plate. "yea, she is walking towards us now," oaklynn added as she got up dragging braedon towards nessa and josh.
i walked behind them, watching as oak introduced nessa and josh to braedon. "hey tate," josh smiled giving me a side hug. "hi joshy," i laughed. "where is your husband?" he asked walking with me as we followed oaklynn, braedon, and nessa. "he went back to jersey for a week to get his stuff and say bye to his parents," i huffed. "oh, so when's the house warming party?" he laughed. "soon, mattia is going to plan it," i answered nodding.
"anyways, have you guys been getting along?" josh added as we entered a random store. "yea.. i think so. i mean, we kissed the day we moved to our house and we went on a date in jersey," i smiled remembering the kiss and the beginning of the date. "ooh, watch me tell kio and bryce," he chuckled patting me on my back. "if you do, ill smack you," i jokingly said. "okay, chill! well ill talk to you later, ness is calling me," he exclaimed as he left me all by myself.
i sighed as i looked through the clothes. i looked up to find oaklynn shoving clothes towards braedon to see how it would look and then nessa giving josh a bunch of clothes. as i looked through more clothes, i got a message from mattia.
